nah ive seen gang fights and bar fights. Its not always a gang of people on one or two others. Most of the ones Ive seen they are like simultaneous fighting where they pair up. still lots of stomps kicks and foreign objects.

I have no clue. best guess would be that he has been rattled since his loss to Rich franklin. After that loss he fought mike swick who got a decision over him, then he fought in elite xc in feb and fought one of the worst fights ever, in which he lost another decision.
so the last 12 months have been very bad for the crow.

So what is your prediction for the Gonzaga v Cro Cop fight then the subsequent Couture v ??? fight?
I think Cro Cop will have a tough fight with Gonzaga but will win. I actually have no idea who will win in the Couture v Cro Cop fight. Randy's a smart and capable fighter, it's so hard to tell.
Then again after the GSP fight my predictions are worth approximately jack shit.

i think i can speak for the majority, cro cop will win against gonzaga.
and hes gonna beat couture for the heavyweight champ.
and then couture will retire.
how about liddell vs jackson 2, thats a tough one. liddell has gotten better since their last fight. but im still goin for rampage!!

Yea, after the 8 million mma upsets this year its hard to accurately predict anything. They are building gonzaga as a monster on the ground with great JJ, but mention nothing of his striking. If he has no skill on his feet he is dead.
The way I see it, eddie sanchez lasted as long as he did because he didn't try any striking exchanges or try any take downs...he ran away, far away then hoped one of his hay makers would land. That was his smartest game plan, a punchers chance. The reason I think cro cop will have an easier time with gonzaga is that he will be looking for a take down, so he can't run away then rush in, he has to try and stay close.
this is why randy does so well, he has a stand up game and can have an exchange with almost anyone....except chuck ..so he can get in close enough for effective take downs. but hell, I don't think he can topple cro-cop, he has been brillant in all of his fights in the last year and I don't see anyone stopping him. I even think he can take big nog in a rematch.
for jackson liddell (which I will see in person...I got tickets!!!) it might be close, but I have to give it to liddell. Rampage has been slacking and looking unmotivated as of late. He turned his first ufc match aroudn in the second round, but looked kinda bad in the first. Plus his lindland fight before that was just bad. SO hopefully he found some motivation ($$$$) and will bring on his A game, which he needs against chuck.
but if someone in the ufc is to beat chuck, its rampage. but I want shogun vs iceman. Posted by Inertia on Apr-10-2007 00:08:

well, i wouldn't see it as a completely bad idea to rely more on ground game than striking against CroCop. i'd say it's not a wise choice to try and outstrike the man. taking it to the ground would give you an advantage if you're a proficient JJ technician, as CroCop's ground game is more defensive than anything else.
if he can take Mirko to the floor and sort of dominate him for at least 2 rounds, and survive the other one in any way, he can go to decision and win.

true, a ground guy is more likely to catch mirko. But I am saying in order to get mirko on the gorund, you have to have an exchange with him. his sprawl is very nice, so staying out of reah then rushing in might get gonzaga in trouble. but if he can get in close for a few seconds, he has a chance of a judo throw er something.
and sinosic hasn't been burned into my mind yet. Im not sold on him yet!
