Why'd they add freestylers

freestylers are fuckin awesome you guys suck!


i think the transitions will be great.. i hope wink plays some crazy acid 303 and starts with some kickass tracks...

droog will fukin rock it, i like when droog was playin some prog breaks before booka.



i agree a little bit, i want to hear aquaviva

Ya, those set times suck. Wink and Acquaviva are on way too late to really be enjoyed by the non-breaks crowd, and the "get home and go to bed at a reasonable hour" crowd

btw thrax0rz, wink doesn't base his set around a 303 synth.... one track buddy...

agreed... those set times butt. I really only cared to see John.. but going on at 4? zoinks.

don't be weaksauce guys. I just got back from europe where places don't even open until midnight or 1 a.m. Things don't start rocking until 2:00 a.m minimum.

Believe me man, i use to live in Germany and have partied quite a bit in Frankfurt and in Berlin... and around Europe. It's an entirely different scene over there

so lets hang in there together then! WE CAN DO IT!

Josh Wink 'Swirl/Have To Get Back' (Ovum)
While Ovum has recently gone from strength to strength, its guiding force Josh Wink has lately been rather quiet on the production front since the flurry of studio activity that spawned his '20 to 20' project back in 2004. 'Swirl', the long awaited follow up to '516 Acid', is finally here and we pleased to say it was well worth the wait. Once again Josh has harnessed his peerless mastery of the 303 to create a dark acid soaked weapon that manages to be brain twisting head music and pure driving dancefloor dynamite all at once. The B-side features a vocal reworking of 'Have To Get Back', which was previously released on M-nus' min2MAX compilation last summer. Essential deep acid-soaked techno 5/5

Droog rocked, in the main room, as usual. Whoever got on after Droog in the main room was HORRIBLE! I was in there for literally 45 seconds, and couldn't take it. Luckily, Robtronik was rocking in the terrace. The guys after him were SICK too!

Unfortunately, I got too sick, and left before Wink even started!!!!

yeah gurl. I was concerned for you. Glad you got home okay.

It was a good night in terms of music. I just wish they'd fix the terrace room's sound so it had some real gutsy bottom end in there. Doesn't have to be loud, but still a bit of that presence would do wonders for the vibe in that room.



other than that, Wink was great, but I though Acquaviva really took it up a notch last night. I was worried he was going to cheese out on bad electro house. nothing could be farther from the truth. He rocked it, IMO.

then I had to go home. I was so exhausted!

agree with pointer on the terrace. a lot of the time the terrace is dropping some wicked tunes, and i wish there was a house-shaking bass to accompany it.

I loved the whole night...Freestylers, Wink and Acquaviva.

One of the best times I've had there yet!!!

rob and darius kept it steady. billy and jason killed it hard. wink had to many fucking break downs but it was cool.

aquaviva started off with bad electro house so i didnt stay to see if it got better....oops :P



thnx to everybody who came out. the terrace vibes was droid worthy for a few hours there.

for the curious, I played at 118 BPM until about 11:15 p.m. and then slowly kicked it up to 124-ish by the time Jason and Billy went on.

SLOW AND LOW baby.

And yeah, I should be embarrassed to note that Billy and Jason dropped WICKED tracks. I wanted to steal their hardrive. LOL.
