IMHO Flowtation original mix has got to be one of my favourite tracks of all time. I remember way back in '97 I heard that tune and it absolutley blew me away. Reactivate 12 compilation it was

I think it's got one of the best buildups ever in a track. I never get bored of that track.
Shamu seems pretty good as well. Haven't heard Sunflowers yet.
His remix of Sileny Harmony's 'Save the Whales' is one my favourite De Moor remixes !!! Fucking awesome !!
Lately, VDM's productions have sort of been disappointing. I reckon Fly Away was mediocre, Green Heaven was a pile of shit (way too cheesy) and most of his work from 2001 was pretty average.

All in all I don't think VDM is underrated but I do think he is rather inconsistent at times.

the reason you dont here from him is because he doesnt DJ. I heard he's too shy too DJ. It's not his thing apparently. As for him not being busy, someone mentioned he's responsible for Tenth Planet and just recenty they released a great single (IMO) called Walk on Water.. VDM is awesome and I really love his range of styles. He can produce some quality melodic trance without sounding too cheesy and he can produce some banging stormers like VDM - no hesitation.. Man that song rocks!
