No times crashing! my 1.8ghz with 1gb ram won't stop anywhere!

I have to reinstall all the system every 2 months

Well, my laptop [Time AMD Athlon4-1500, 256 MB, Win XP Home] has only crashed in windows once since I bought it in August, and I've been running it 24/7 since the end of September. Counterstrike crashes it (so i've given up on that one), but otherwise it doesn't crash. It only really needs restarting for program updates etc as well.

XP-Pro on a PIII-733 256mb never crashes. May be slow when the HD is full, but it just never fails to do what it should

Too often.
I want to throw it out the window then burn it.

using windows xp: never
using windows 98SE: 1 time aday, but a lot of erros without crashing

we have a new one, but because of lack of memory (128) it starts very very slow, so I voted for once, it's not really crashing, but it is annoying... we'll get more memory asap..

my computer crashes probably 3-4 times a day... However, it does like to vary it's methods: sometimes it will bluescreen, sometimes just turn off dead, sometimes close each window individually then restart. I have just come back from a weekend away to find some star has reinstalled my operating system for me... i'm hoping things will improve...

Too many. 'Nuff said.

I've been using Windows 2000 Pro for a couple of weeks now. No crashes so far, and I never have to reboot. Although I'm not a fan of Microsoft products, Windows 2000 stands out from the crowd of over-bugged software
