yeah...for the whole year of 2006 that i've seen him in LA, he's played only a two hour set. which sucks...!! he played two hour set at the white party, and then played a three or four hour set in SF. he did play a three hours set on new years eve, and a four and a half hour set in SD this year. but i had the worst experience at Belo that night.
a 12 hour solo set from armin in LA, i am 100% there(one can only dream).
I was there at BELO brotha...it was HELL
That following Sunday though he made up for it in Newport.
ARMIN 12 hour solo... would be like a 3 hour orgasm

in mulitiples of 4
so 4 orgasms x 3 hours each = 12 hours

***Following post is of my own accord and nothing to do with my involvement with any clubs, promoters, etc...so get over it!***
One thing about Spundae SF sets is there's typically a set time for the headliner to come on and then they play "as long as they want."
That usually turns out to be midnight - 4am+
If the crowd is thin at first, might come on a little later.
But yeah, 99% of the time I what time the headliner that's playing is set to stop at the answer is "he can play until he wants to stop" .... if he wants to stop and there's still a huge crowd then a closer will come on for a bit. I imagine they have to play for a minimum amount of time but I honestly dunno how long that ever is hehe.
As far as AvB in LA on July 14....after talking to a few peeps it seems no one is sure because some peeps plans for events in LA keep changing around.
Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I used to be a HUGE Armin fan. But now he bores me. I just heard his Dance Department set from last week, and it was boring. Hehehe Sorry guys.
But I still won't forget the first time I saw him at Spundae. Wow, that was an amazing night!!!! But than again, that was back in like 2002. Haha.
Than I remember when Markus played for the first time in LA with Armin at the Henry Fonda. That was an amazing night too. It was just them two the whole night.

yep - i was right about Armin at Giant Village:
Last Julys GIANT Village Summer in the City returns to the streets of Downtown Los Angeles with this years theme ARMIN LIVE IN LA. On Saturday, July 14, 2007, Armin van Buuren will perform from 8pm to 4am with a host of special guests on a custom panoramic stage surrounded by the soaring skyscrapers of Downtown LA: A 5000 capacity OPEN AIR BLOCK PARTY with an array of amusements and, all together now... the giant Ferris Wheel!

Did either of you see him a month ago in SD or Newport Beach? He turned it up a notch for those.
I thought his White Party set was boring too. But his socal sets are kinda blah compared to SF.
