fuck man, when i was 15 i made $5.50 an hour. consider yourself lucky..

i dont see whats so funny about him working in mcdonalds? someone has to do it. what if that is the only job he can getbecause of age, schooling or experience... leave the guy alone.

I wasn't making fun of him for working there I was laughing at the fact that he is complaining about his pay.

Is there any reason why you should be making more? You're working at mcdonald's, doing the lowest of the lowest of all jobs. You're one hundred percent expendable. Why would they pay you more when they can just replace you with someone who won't complain?

Yeah, it sucks, but everyone has to go through that phase. You work for crap for a while, but then you have a little experience, and that increases your value as an employee. McD's isn't a job you work at to make money, it's a job you work at to be able to write on your resume that you worked at mcdonald's.

My first job was 3 months at a gas station working for minimum wage (7.45 at the time). Then I worked in a laser tag for 8 months or so (7.75), then worked in retail for a month (8.50), then a computer store (9.50)... you get the point. Just have patience.

I think you should be payed 10 double cheeseburgers an hour.

btw, i'm glad i don't work for mc donalds but i do like their $ menu

6.50 an hour overnight? WHY? ... why wouldnt u go to any other job and make more automatically, either that or sell one gram bag of weed and ull make ur one day salary in 5 seconds.

anyways, just think of this as your beginning years. come to think about it, be happy you're getting paid! i had a job when i was 15, and when it came to nights out in high school, i was the one with the benjamins in the pockets and my friends had abraham lincolns.

it depends on the state he lives in. in louisiana back then, it was $5.15.
