We're glorifying MURDERERS, and the need for MURDER.
There's no getting around that fact.
Because other people will willingly murder us, we have a direct need to create people in our society that are designed to commit mass murder.
It's completely fucked up in every way, because it's both tragic and seemingly necessary until we evolve a little farther along the cosmic scale.

| Originally posted by XaNaX Whatever. You say they are killing Iraqis, I say they are killing terrorists. Either way, they are fighting so that terrorist lovers like you and shaolin and hardcore can get on this board and post their terrorist loving propaganda. The least you can do is support the TROOPS THEMSELVES even if you don't agree with their mission. If you don't agree with their mission then it is YOUR job on election day to put in office people who will withdraw them. Its nice that you have the freedom to do that, isn't it. Freedom that the people of Iraq didn't have before the invasion. Now what you have over there are terrorists and extremists trying to destabilize the country and use public opinion at home to force an American withdrawal. At which point they can take over and do whatever they want in Iraq. I do agree that we never should have gone into Iraq. We as Americans tend to try and spread freedom and justice to people who do not value such things. We serve as the world's policemen, every country in the world talks shit about us until they get invaded and then its 'get the Americans in here to bail us out'. But now we are in Iraq and thousands of Americans and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis have died trying to make that country free. Now is not the time to quit before the job is done. |
You've obviously never seen a single declassified document in your life!!! LOL. "We as Americans tend to try and spread freedom and justice to people who do not value such things."

| Originally posted by XaNaX I love how you think the American soldiers are devils for accidental civilian deaths, but if you are an Iraqi and you strap yourself with TNT and deliberately blow up a market full of civilians you are a 'hero' or a 'freedom fighter'. |

I never thought this day would come but I do finally agree with you about something. I fully agree that Iraq is a lost cause. Hell I'll say that the entire Middle East is a lost cause. But until we no longer need oil to power our cars we will have to be involved there. I look forward to the day when we can withdraw all our forces from the area and let nature take its course. Unfortunately nature would probably be a massive Arab attack on Israel followed by an equally massive Israeli nuclear retaliation. |
