Actually it's BBC's, not Discovery. And it's a great documentary. Saw all the episodes already.

Actually, it was funded by both. Just showed on Discovery a year later.

And this is a brilliant fucking series

Love the show. I'll probably snag the full series on DVD.

i'm in love with these series... i hope they get a lot of money and win an award for the work they have done. they were promoting a special deal 11.95 for one of the dvds in the series.

this is one of my favorite scenes from one of the episodes... it makes me want to go to the coast of south africa and document on great white sharks...

The only thing that will make Planet Earth better is having Sir David Attenborough narrate instead of Sigourney Weaver. Can't wait to get all the HD DVDs for this series.

As if they got Sigourney Weaver to narrate

The BBC version (which was broadcast to Aus) did have Attenborough

Posted by AndreaCKY772 on Apr-27-2007 15:00:

sigourney weaver is narrating...the version that is broadcast here at least

whats wrong with her voice though? i think it's good. it's serene and she doesn't sound loud, cheesy or obnoxious

I wonder whether the lines are the same.

Did she describe great whites as 'predatory' or 'predatree'?
