Already posted in this thread....and somewhere else on TA too when we were talking about privacy issues.

There ARE privacy options on Facebook people...if you are so concerned...USE THEM. (This msg isn't directed only at you Jess)

Anyway, I thought the skit was mildly humorous.

lol i know
no worries
but even with the privacy options (which are really to keep your info private from the people with accounts) on facebook, that def wont prevent the people who run this site to still get the info they're looking for.
Theres some really creepy info i read..

one ex

lol, just retrieve it from the Recycle Bin.

trance_ultima, every single website that uses cookies tracks you via those cookies. It's no big deal, and it's nothing new.

Go to your soundcard manufacturers's website and re download the drivers.

If you know what your soundcard is, just run a google search

True, ir's a matter of trust I guess. But wouldn't that be the same with TA? Del knows a lot of shit about all of us...our IP addresses, email addresses etc. He could technically do whatever he wants with it, but we trust that he won't, just b/c we know him. I bet a lot of the people in the forums around the world don't though.

Also, there's a new option in the privacy features that lets you select that you don't want your information seen by employers, profs etc - I'm not sure how that works though.
