Great song

Some possible corrections:

- Sweet balm in these eyes

- Two-strum laser storm

- Your spite, subsonic
- Like a car crash in the rain

- You got wonders, all your own

- Hey my love...heaven knows
- Still it felt so right, so never known before

- Your fire, a rift
- Like a meltdown powerzone
- Grows stormy, with the very thought of love

I have the official release of Blondie - Nothing is Real But the Girl (Danny Tenaglia rmxs) Blondie - Nothing is Real (DT rmxs) discogs . there aren't any for sale on ebay, discogs only has 1 for sale and it's for almost $100. so, it's RARE. but, I have a buddy that had a white label bootleg with the classic 'club mix' on it. Discogs doesn't even have that one listed. it happens.

Actually, that Blondie - Nothing Is Real... 12" is not really rare at all. That Discogs.com seller is an idiot, all his prices are through the roof b/c he has no idea that the record market has tanked. These 12"s were selling on eBay for $5-$10 USD not that long ago, and I don't think I ever paid more than $15 USD for any of my copies. Don't get fooled into thinking this is harder to find than it really is and pay a lot more than necessary.

Amoeba Assassin on the other hand... the original 12" is tough to track down.

i just got my original press of it last week for 65 usd. best price ive seen so i snached it. Piledriver though is probely my 2nd fav AA track next to Speedway Revisited.

haha... it's YMOHAM of course... that guy never has a record priced at a realistic price.

yeah that blondie record isn't all that rare... i've had multiple copies in my possession... great track though!!!

anyway, back to those lyrics!!! someone get steve to address the issue.

That jackass screwed me over on two eBay auctions. I won both Orkidea - Unity and Amoeba Assassin - Piledriver from him for a total of $60.00, and then he decided the total was too low, and wouldn't sell me the records! Little bitch, shouldn't sell stuff on eBay if he doesn't know how it works!

Oh hey yall. 1 more thing. I'm never good @ this by looking or listening to the lyrics... but... what is the song trying to imply. I know its about some1 letting some1 down. But what's the story its tryin to depict. Give me your interpretations !!

I have it on vinyl but i really don't get the hype about it. I used to like it that's why i bought it, but now it just sounds to damn lame. Beside the voice of Blondie the rest is weak in comparison, especially the synthlead that's going on top of it.

Well it's an avarage if not bad remix and im thinking of selling it for reasonable price 40-60bucks something.

Danny should stick to his usual Techno style.

Haha com'on spending 60$ on Unity, it isn't even worth 5bucks.

And sellers shouldn't withdraw their actions like that. It's against ebay policy rules, you can report this seller to ebay.

unity AND piledriver...

i dunno if that blondie track is worth 40-60 usd... it is quite attainable if you actually look around.

Apparently I have terrible taste in music, b/c I love Unity as well...

That seller never withdrew those auctions. I actually won both Unity and Piledriver for a total of $60, and after I paid, he refunded my payment and said he wouldn't sell the records for such low prices. He apparently also screwed over his buyer for Tekknova, b/c that sold for around $65 USD, and then he immediately listed it on Discogs.com, where it's still sitting. Jackass!!!

lol, I didn't know that guy was notorious for high prices. I guess I've just been unlucky when I look, but I have NEVER seen a copy of Blondie - Nothing is Real (DT rmxs) available on ebay or anywhere else. but I'll take your guys word for it. I have a copy and I'm not looking for another, so I'm good.

about the lyrics - still haven't got a response from Andy. anyone know how to contact Steve?

SPEEDWAY REVISITED!!!!!!!!!
Fuckin' incredible tech trance of 1998!

IMO Marco V - "More than a life away" rips him off from this song.

Posted by tortoise on Apr-22-2007 19:50:

i first got into Speedway Revisited when i was listing to Oakeys Essential Mix World Tour. some elements of the song really reminds me of "The Source - Fly Away" <--- too bad oakey got the only copy.

Posted by keithos27 on Apr-12-2008 20:12:

okay so i got the bug again to try and figure out the lyrics... still having some bad luck but this is my crack at it today:

your light, euphoric
i waited for so long
i'm crashing
sweet bloom(?) in these eyes
like a six ton megabomb

youre high, plutonic
i waited to this time
the force, erotic
like the deuce (juice?) from a laser storm
the spike, subsonic
like a car crash in the rain
your karma, it's solid
you got a wonder that's all your own
you got a wonder that's all your own
you got a wonder that's all your own

heeeoh (?), ever known
still i felt so right, as i never known before
heeeoh (?), ever known
still i felt so right, as i never known before
heeeoh (?), ever known
still i felt so right, as i never known before

your thigh (fire?), your (youre?) hip
like a melt down powerzone,
quite(?) strorming, with the very thought of it all
like a voice in a hurricane
youre high, plutonic
i waited for so long
the force, excited
like the light from a runaway train (like a lap on a runaway train?)
the spike, exotic
crash (fresh?) into my mind
your all, your soul
youre like ice on a desert plane
youre like ice on a desert plane
youre like ice on a desert plane

anyone feel like taking another listen/stab at this? i don't know why, but it's driving me nuts that all these years i still haven't gotten a concrete answer on the lyrics. and andy never replied on myspace.

still my favorite tune.

OF all TIMEZZZzZZz!

Posted by whiskers on Apr-12-2008 22:38:

Eh, just give it up, just like with some of Underworld's tunes, there's no exact interpretation

Posted by keithos27 on Apr-12-2008 22:51:

i was listening to the vinyl today and i think the lyrics may be *slightly* different in the other mixes... like a word here or there.

Anyone know the lyrics to Amoeba Assassin Rollercoaster? It has driven me mad for years without knowing what he's singing about.
