consult your doctor, you may be retarded. Tiestos mix of innocente is absoulte trash compared with the deep dish, or lost witness, or Mr Sam's mixes. There were half a dozen remixes of silence before the ISOS mix came out. I'd totally agree that M.I.K.E puts out tracks that are 10x better then the usual tiesto riff raff. I don't think anyone could argue universal nation is better then anything tiesto's ever done. M.I.K.E's origonal material is on a level very few can compete with, and his remixes are also untouched.

what crack are you on?

Innocence:
Mr. Sam's remix of innocence is Garbage!!
Deep dish barely uses the vocals, it's just another Deep Dish song with the DAARRRRLINGGGGG and a few other clips thrown in.
Lost Witness is pretty good.

Tiesto's is by far the best, (it's my second favorite song ever!) The vocals climax three times right in a row, it sounds so sweet. and the industrial synths are a great match with the vocals.

Silence:
All mixes are crap except for Michael Woods, Sanctum, and Tiesto.

Tiesto's was the best, because it was big, powerful, and the vocals sounded by far the best.

UNIVERSAL NATION:

OK...the original mix is mediocre. It's just the same melody warped around for like 10 minutes, it really lacks in comparison to The Legacy and Strange World (2000 Remake)
Ferry Corsten Remix saves this song, because he beefs up the synth, and made a buildup.

M.I.K.E. has great tracks, but Tiesto has made better.

I think DJ Tiesto has become an expert when remixing vocals. I didn't like vocals at first. I hated any song with vocals, no matter if it had a good intro, as soon as I heard a vocal, I didn't like the song anymore. But then I listened songs like Innocente, Silence, In my memory, Close to you, Flesh, Souther sun, etc (all of them with the Tiesto's touch) and I really like vocals now!

It's not coincidence that the top tunes from the past years comes from Tiesto's hand. He is just getting better and better, this year he's been producing quality tunes and his last album is just a masterpiece.

Most of the people in this forum have been in a constant contact with the trance scene, and they couldn't be wrong, so lets make this simple for all to understand who is the man lately... POLLS:

BEST SET EVER

BEST DUTCH DJ/PRODUCER

BEST CD EVER

BEST REMIXER

TRANCEADDICT TRACK OF THE YEAR

Any questions?

Posted by DjArktik on Apr-10-2002 01:20:

In my opinion, Ferry Corsten beats the crap out of damn near every other remixing artist out there (cept for maybe dj scot project)...including tiesto.

in popularity though...sadly, tiesto is probably the most popular, and thats all that matters sometimes...

Is it just me, or did you guys miss Flight 643 completely? I personally think the track is extremely overrated...but thats me

major league? haha.. maybe alibi..

yes it's on the album.. maybe i should pick it up..

and did anybody realize why the hell they decided to put mode confusion on the b-side of dance valley theme? think about it..

a: dance valley them 2001
b: elevate

*droo~ool*

oh shit.. we're waaay off topic now

Mwuahaha.

I love it when people go "Ferry Corsten is better" or "Armin van Buuren is better".

The massive irony is that Tiesto is in duo's with these guys (Vimana, Major League, Gouryella, etc.). Their styles are very alike, yet different at times. I think they are all unique and awesome, and should be appreciated as such.

As for who is the most popular, who cares? Listen to what you like, and if it happens to be popular, good for you, you'll hear it a lot more often.

can someone hook me up with elevate... a proper rip ive heard good things!!!!!

Posted by sifntj0r on Apr-10-2002 13:12:

I thought gielen spun an absolute god-set at trance energy 2002

And yet tiesto spins for 9 hours at dutch-dimension.

you guys are arguing who is the best and will reign supreme? plz dont be so cruel. armin/ferry/tiesto/marco v/gielen/push/pvd etcetc they're all great producers, remixers and dj's.

just enjoy them all!

i wonder if paul van dyk gets jealous ? lol

Posted by davinox on Apr-10-2002 18:18:

paul van dyk....

now that's one shitty producer who happens to be an incredible DJ!

Posted by oDrori on Apr-10-2002 18:46:

Bringing this a bit more to topic:
Something I never understood was why Tijs' remix of Silence is legendary? I personally think it's not enjoyable (don't comment this aint the point) cause it TOOOOOO empty...
Anyways, how comes no one even gave the Airscape remix a chance to compete? I mean, no one discussed the Airscape remix ONCE in all of the topics I've seen that they say that the ISO remix is wonderfull etc etc.

You people suffer from FAT syndrome (Ferry Armin Tisto). So all 3 are tallented producers, but there is so much more out there. Open your ears. It's not all about the melody....
