Sorry...I couldn't hold out any longer

| Originally posted by inconspicuous to me, it did look like it might have been an accident. He shouldn't have had his gun drawn in the first place, but it doesn't look like he just aimed & shot. Also, the narrator claiming that this is even moreso the fault of the officer, since his tardiness put him there at that time, is irrelevant. That would require the validity of the assumption that tardiness results in murder. In any case, it's unfortunate and looks like it got out of hand and could've been avoided, but to instantly claim that the guy's guilty of murder and that there's a huge cover-up is a bit of a stretch. The fact that they concealed the video isn't surprising. Sounds more like somebody wants to get on a charge against the police and, while they've come close, they haven't gotten ahold of that gem of a case with which to do it. |
I was so ready for a 1984 claim

| Originally posted by inconspicuous well, if it's not an accident, you might. But accidentally killing someone is not murder. Murder requires intent. |
you guys ever what would happen if, say, in the year 3000, robotcops are doing police work for humans, and a Robocop (in this same situation) (with 5000 years of Police Artificial Intelligence) did this.
Would people say the robot made a "mistake"?
Would people just accept it as the best course of action as determined by a 10million teraflop CPU?
Would the public ask for good old-fashioned humans to replace the AI-controlled robocops?
we'd call Will Smith.

I really wonder if these people ever stopped and asked themselves if they really think they're fooling anybody.
Internet tough guy huh?
