YES!! That is exactly the feature I'm waiting for in order to upgrade. I really hope Steinberg delivers on that promise, they have certainly been talking it up on the Cubase forums. I can get around it for now, but its a pain in the ass.

When I bought my copy of Cubase 4 (not the studio version) from Sweetwater.com I just emailed a scan of my student ID.

I got it for 400 bucks
