Today I am mostly going to be Antagonistic Rachel, teasing people.

Tonight I am going to be Rachel Slut.

Yesterday I was predominantly Soppy Rachel - don't like her much, she is a wet fish.

Tomorrow I will be Footy Fan Rachel, can anyone say 'hooligan'?

Tomorrow night I think I will sport Dancing Queen Rachel, need to work off a couple of pounds.

Sunday will see me being Doting, Responsible, Grown-up Rachel at a memorial service with Adam.

i like the coding used on TA's event forums far better than most sites i've seen. it'd be nice to have the same tool used in some of the other regional forums as well when travelling.

altho, i do find Tribe's events listing to be much more varied when it comes to variety of music which isn't suprising considering that TA is a "trance" based site.

I use the term trance very loosely btw.

TOTA is the busiest local forum. (woo!)

DAMN we fuckin ROCK!

I would have to say that I rely solely on TOTA for events listing.

Posted by Tordan on Apr-27-2007 19:24:

TA is the only place I allow myself to check for events. I go out more than I should as it is and knowing about even more events and wanting to go to them will just make me go nuts.

The reason that I started using TA is the events forum and yes i rely on it 100%

...and a regular user's nightmare when it comes to being invited to 20 events per day that I have no interest whatsoever in going to, or being invited to groups about DJs that I don't care about.

Posted by rulzz on Apr-27-2007 19:50:

amen to that

Where they go wrong is that as soon as a friend invites you to an event then they (and *ANY* other admins for the event) can send you a message -- even though you haven't RSVP'd yet. It should, at minimum, only allow that to happen if you RSPV'd that you might be going.

Click the icon (you also find it at the bottom of every page) and see where all the TAs have loggon on from around the world in the last 24hrs. Choose United states, and you also see Canada's breakdown.
Pretty neat.

TA only. And even then, I barely have time to check the TA event thread.

much of the time yeah.

haft go other places to often keep my ears appraised of good up and coming techon parties though.

Posted by endless_summer on Apr-28-2007 00:54:

i use TA to find out what's going on on the EDM scene and i don't rely on it completely
NOW magazine has variety of events listed that satisfy my non EDM tastes and i keep up with it on regular basis especially in the summer for festival schedules and other outdoor events
Rachel feel free to post anything you are excited about in the events listings and share the info with others as sometimes great events don't end up on TA

Is that unique visitors? Cause I know some people are on here multiple times a day...which completely skews that number.

Regardless.....love the site.

i'm lost without it

Posted by Vogon on Apr-28-2007 19:11:

The TA events postings are my primary source.
6 - 8 weeks notice is enough to plan my summer holidays.
Armins/ other DJ sites do not post events that far in advance either.

Posted by robbiej on Apr-28-2007 19:25:

im always checking guvernments website, either than that other ppl report to me whats going on in toronto faster than i could so lol.. but i think they get it off of taddict :B a lot of ppl will scour tour dates and then come on and paste it freaking out, then it begins..
