Are you really this stupid, or are you trying to be an idiot? Insulting someone else's intelligence when you can't even form a coherent thought is only slightly hypocritical.

You won't get one. He's just baiting us.

Posted by tryan77 on Apr-29-2007 06:00:

for someone's who's claiming someone else has no logic, you have absolutely no grasp on how an actual debate works.

out of genuine curiosity, whats your motivation in starting this thread?

Do you read your own shit before you write or are you just a moron.

Posted by tryan77 on Apr-29-2007 06:02:

if its a logical and important question, why didn't you answer a SINGLE relevant objection raised in this thread, instead retorting to irrelevant personal insults?

Because that would be too... logical?

Posted by tryan77 on Apr-29-2007 06:07:

No one has given one. Not one. Saying that there are many pro-american people there is the worst respone ever. That will never change the country. Bomb that fuggen joint now or pay later.

Posted by tryan77 on Apr-29-2007 06:08:

Logical? Lmao you want logical in a forum of technical hippies. Heh..thanks for the fun

Shifting the burden of proof

The burden of proof is always on the person asserting something. Shifting the burden of proof, a special case of Argumentum ad Ignorantiam, is the fallacy of putting the burden of proof on the person who denies or questions the assertion. The source of the fallacy is the assumption that something is true unless proven otherwise.

How will we pay? Will they magically shoot a missile all the way across the globe and hit us?

Posted by tryan77 on Apr-29-2007 06:16:

Great job Marc. You have destroyed my argument. But I must say I might be concerned for our sister Isreal. Thats ok though they can take care of themselves.

Clever and comedic response however comma I did not imply a burden of proof.

No, they can't. They don't "Take care of themselves" they feed off of us. If the US and the cut the umbilical cord, they'd be living off the money from tourism and citrus exportation, and that wouldn't even be enough to upkeep their military, let alone fight off an offensive from Arab and Asian nations.

Not sure if thats a joke or not however, im gonna act as if it is not and say that your right hes not. GW has B A L L S. And would flatten those fuggers. Dont care what all you haters say but you would be saying worse here in the greatest country in the history of the world if he didnt do something. I love my GW. (Hes made mistakes dont get me wrong but most of you couldnt run a $50,000 a year company let alone the biggest economy in the world) I love my Brits and wish Tony would just kick those ayatollas arses. No pun here whatsoever.

So now that I know you're actually being serious... you're just an idiot. I apologize someone called you a troll.

You have yet to supply one reason why the United States should bomb Iran aside from one vagueary that we will "pay later" if we don't. And yet you say there isn't a single reason why we shouldn't. Well here are a few you can try on for size.

*Because reform within Iran is inevitable - the population is overwhelmingly positive towards the United States and democracy (far more so, I might add, than your beacon of democracy in Iraq).

*Because innumerable lives would be lost on both sides. Iran is a much bigger country than Iraq, and wouldn't crumble so easily. They have one of the best air forces in the world, and wouldn't much put up with American shock troops storming toward Tehran.

*Because logistically, the United States can't swing it without putting an enormous strain on our troops all across the world.

*Because Britain has made some headway in the nuclear talks. When Bush steps aside, Europe has been able to show that diplomacy is promising.

*Because the entire region would be destabilized. With American troops in three contiguous states in the Middle East, we'd have successfully pissed off the secularists, Sunni, and Shia.

*Because the United States would never be taken seriously on the world stage ever again.

*Because the true profiteers from an American invasion would be terrorist recruiters. Anti-American resentment would sky-rocket across the world, only increasing the difficulties in the War on Terror.

*Because I've yet to hear one single good reason why we should. Logic implies that man doesn't wage war on fellow man for no apparent reason.

*Because Iranian women are gorgeous, and there's no better reason not to than that.

this question implies that you think the US should invade Iran. the way you worded the question you basically just asserted that you indeed had the burden of proof and were trying to ignore it. sorry, but no

i'm still waiting for a legitimate reason we should

Posted by tryan77 on Apr-29-2007 06:30:

Lmao. I am very proud of you You pushed allot of buttons in the last fifteen miuntes.

Lets get one fucking thing straight you electro hippie...

Work with them, instead of against them. If they are so determined to obtain technology, let's help them out, instead of punishing them. This way, we could regulate how far they enrich, and how they use the technology itself.
