ok, i'll try to follow the rules.
DJ Tiesto - In Search Of Sunrise 2 is the most legendary, the most amazing, and the bestest-best album ever!

why? because it sets up an unbelievable mood. the mixing is flawless and the track selection is brilliant. this cd will touch every single person who hears it, even those who hate trance. a definite classic which can't be compared to other albums just for the reason that it's so different

btw, Oaky's Another World is my #2 for the same reasons, but the mixing is a bit off sometimes and the mood is not so special.

House Party 6 - this brought a great mix of techno/trance and was mixed absolutely perfectly (as most of the HP series is).

UNKLE - Do Androids Dream Of Electric Beats Absolutely flawless mixing, wonderful track selection, and it maintains a great mood throughout the whole thing. All three discs are just incredible.
Tool - �nima This album truly shows the brilliance of Maynard Keenen. The lyrics, the stucturing of the songs, everything.
Global Underground 024 - Nick Warren - Reykjavik The closest thing to a trance album that makes my top 10. Great mixing and track selection, good mood, flow-ey. Great mix.
KMFDM - Nihil KMFDM at their very best. The most raw energy of any of their albums, along with being very well made, and with the strongest expressions of everything KMFDM stands for.
Aphex Twin - Drukqs Amazing range of tracks. Really shows how good of a producer Richard D. James is. Two discs of pure experimental IDM awesome.

Gasp, I like stuff other than trance

Favorite trance album, either GU013, Balance005, or Nubreed006.
