-- Hip Hop Producer Takes a shot at Trance. Did I succeed? I think so :D

I'm glad to hear that you are not going to take the advice of the people telling you to stick to hip hop.
Personally I think that the more diversity there is in music the better and healthier it is.
Ok, so it didn't sound like trance, but I can relate to what you are trying to convey. When people latch on to music they hear different things and may not notice the things that a producer or hardened fan would notice.
That said, you may want to figure out what in Trance music actually floats your boat as there are a heap of different styles, ranging from the proggy side of things to the Techy and down right nasty. There is a brave new world out there. Enjoy it.
Cheers

I really really hate the guys with the childish comments " stick to hiphop" you noobs let me hear your first trance tracks, with that said I must say , That I to produce hiphop RnB house trance chillout ambient pop and rock , and honestly Only the noobs, only like trance or House etc, A real musician like mr Seanblake tries to master them all. ok so your first track isnt the bomb, no ones first track is. I like your attitude and I think you will do good eventually.

Do your "thang" Mr Blake.
Point taken, however, in telling him to stick to him-hop, it wasnt my point at all to be childish. The problem I had, was that his post was "Hip Hop producer makes attempt at trance. Did I succeed? I think so!"
His first post just sounded extremely pretencious to me, as if all of a sudden he had made one track and was a god, and thats exactly what I'm getting at. My first track was shite, and most other peoples were too, so to come into something for the very first time and tell everyone "Hells yes I did a good job!" seems a little premature, and pretty darn cocky. My intent wasn't for him to stick to hip hop becuase I didn't think his track was good, it was becuase with an attitude like that, well, we just dont need it. Perhaps I took the post, and his attitude in the wrong way, maybe not, who knows. At any rate, thats my two bits.
Not Bad!!
I like this track.
