Most horror movies nowadays are all about gore & shock factor (see: thread about this from a few weeks ago), so I just don't bother. Seeing someone's arm ripped off and shoved through his skull isn't my idea of a good time.

Horror movies turn you into gay.

Wiki says so.

Well in that case....I'm so gay. I'm gayer than gay.

Almost to gay to function

( this is like the 5th Mean Girls reference I made on TA today. I'm obsessed )

The burden of proof is on you.

It means it's up to you to prove that they don't turn you to gay, it's not up to me to prove that they do because that's proven fact.

Hypothesis: Horror Movies turn you to gay.

Experiment: Watch Horror Movie.

Result: Turn to gay.

Conclusion: Horror movies turn you to gay.

It's called science. Moran.

Why waste time on this one, RJT man. This guy HAS to be taking the piss or be a bigger inept than he initially seems.

it's going to be a prequel.

Proof or stfu...

Posted by GrimReaper on May-01-2007 00:41:

I'm not really a fan of the Saw saga but.. 1 was pretty good tho, 2 was total crap, 3 quite a bit better than 2 again for the most part anyway. I doubt 4 can be much worse than 2 was.

No. If it gets done which is pretty certain at this rate, Saw 5 will be a prequel to the first one, to tell the story how it all began and why.

It's already confirmed by the producers 4 will continue from where 3 ended.. the good guy, Jeff, still needs to find his daughter before she dies in Jigsaw's "puzzles" and they also need to find a way out of the building before both of them die. Before Jigsaw died, he had planned and prepared quite a few things for Jeff to get puzzled about....

Posted by trancebrat on May-01-2007 04:04:

I didn't care much for the third one, and I don't see the point in creating a fourth one. The first Saw is one of my favs. The ending was one of the best endings for a horror/thriller movie.

Posted by tubularbills on May-01-2007 04:07:

wow, i never even saw #3

like most said, the first one was great - and it really should have stopped there.

Posted by neo geo on May-01-2007 04:16:

Next time there is a school shooting or a local murder on your news and you ask why; just watch these demented ass movies like saw and hostel. I think people are proned to like seeing people killed and hacked into pieces. Oh well, enjoy!

Posted by jupiterone on May-01-2007 04:21:

All I know is that I want to see that new comedy coming out, "Knocked Up" .

Posted by Lunar Phase 7 on May-01-2007 09:22:

I saw the advert for the third installment of hostel, looks fucking brutal.

Too sick for my liking.

Some guy nailed to a cross with some other guy hammering nails into him like his cheek, knees, forehead etc. Seriously gross.

Posted by shaw on May-01-2007 09:28:

hostel's just disgusting. Hostel is pretty much the epitome of what I don't like about modern "horror" movies. It's not scary--just disturbing and disgusting. The funny thing is, some group did a study about a year ago to determine what the scariest movie was of all time, based on the physical reaction of the viewers, and it turns out that it was The Shining. Go figure.

Posted by stren on May-01-2007 09:33:

i consider the shining, a thriller, not a horror
