They can't just lock you in the brig and throw away the key, at a court martial you are going to get a lawyer and even a lawyer fresh out of law school should be successful in defending any child porn type charges. I mean that picture is CLEARLY a joke. A joke in poor taste maybe, but still obviously a joke and not child porn. Maybe they could trump up some lame wrongful use of military property charge but I don't think that will get you a dishonorable discharge. Not that the whole ordeal of a court martial wouldn't suck though.

I still don't understand what you did wrong, and really don't see you facing any kind of serious charge over this.

And even if you do, some opportunistic lawyer will certainly be glad to make a name for himself off your case, so I wouldn't worry too much.

Yup. No matter how "shit" our military is (which really isn't even the issue here) or how much they're "blowing it out of proportion" (we have been given a single side of the issue to consider), nothing will ever come of this.

You are feeling the great anxiety provoking effects of the unknown. Ive been in the same situation before and it sucks, you don't eat, you worry about everything. but if they take context into account, which they could choose not to, or if they notice no other of the same type of photo (meaning this was the exception rather than the norm) you should get through it with minor punishment...no comp for your stay :P



so try to relax, and be honest!!! unless honesty puts you in the brig, then think of a simple lie!

Well during your court martial just tell the judge that if I *were* into that kind of stuff it would be 10 times more hardcore than that weak ass shit. Then put one foot on the table and rest your arm on it flipping the peace sign and say, "'just how I roll dawg"

Everyone in the courtroom starts dancing as the security guards wheel in alcohol.

No but seriously you'll be fine, our court system is perfect and if I recall correctly no one has ever been wrongly convicted so you're golden .
