I'm not saying that applies to ALL younger guys but it's impression I've got so far.

and all i'm saying is that any guy that dates a girl that much younger than himself is really only interested in something physical.

sure maybe after a certain age that will change...like girl is 25+ and out in the real world, but other than that you're just dating that immature guy from 5-10 years earlier...

Posted by Slylee on May-04-2007 17:09:

yea it's been my experience anyway that guys in their 30's act like fucking moronic frat boys...trying to recapture they're youth or something. lol

lol under 20 is a def no for in general. i lately have yet to meet a girl that is under 20 that isnt consumed with stupid shit.

Posted by bananas on May-04-2007 17:12:

Older that's cause I'm 18, when I'll be 30 I'll prob like youngers, DOH
I don't get older woman often tho :]]]

Yeah, you've got a point. For a while, I wasn't that open minded about the whole thing. I guess I'm still a bit narrowminded.

I'd say the real reason to go for anyone is you like them, regardless but also knowing that you're both compatible and you enjoy spending time with each other.

Posted by Ygrene on May-04-2007 17:17:

I've never had a serious relationship with anyone older than me. I don't know that it has anything to do with preference though, it just seems that that's the way it worked out.

lol ty

well then again I kinda see why you are that way...those girls in San Fran were something else...I know it was a lot of younger girls but wow I can see your frustration. Def. not something you'd really want yourself associating with.

Don't worry though we have more than a handful of those in Miami.

when i was younger (15-20), i totally had my heart set on chasing after older guys. i always felt old for my age, so i guess it just felt natural for me to be dating older guys.

as i've gotten older though, i think the huge maturity gap between women/men kind of evens out, and you realize that maturity isn't always directly related to how many years you've been alive. it has more to do with the type of person you are, where you're at in your life, and what you've gone through to get there. those are the things that matter, imo.

funnily enough, the most immature guy i dated was 11 years older than me.

+1 on all of that, but he was 7 years older than me. he still acts like a 9 year old. lol

sooo true. age should never be the only way to judge mentual acuity and maturity. age really proves nothing, but in general, women that are older are farther along in what they want in life. not always true but it seems to be the way it is in general from my experience.

Thats true most of the time. I dated a girl who was 18 when i was 22. The only reason i was interested at first was for physical reasons.

And for a good time when we first started dating that was my only interest, but that eventually changed. When we broke up, it was one of the hardest breakups i've ever dealt with.

i had a feeling you'd +1 me.

its funny, when i was younger i was always spouting off the "age doesn't matter" line, because i was always catchin' shit for dating older guys... but not once did i ever think about dating a younger guy. in fact, it was such an impossibility in my mind, that the first time i found myself attracted to someone younger (i was 21, he was 19) it totally freaked me out, lol.

How could you not know?

Younger girls are definitely more fun to look at, but older girls know what they're doing and also tend to have their head in the right place. Older for sure

one of my former coworkers met his wife of 20 years when she was 15 and he was 35. this is his 4th marriage but also his longest. none of the other marriages lasted as long.

LOL hes quite loaded but so is her family.

and do you really think i would even want to imagine a 60yr old dude with his 40yr old wife?

When you guys all hit 30, you're all not going to want anyone older than you. Trust me.

...unless you want to pull a reverse-Anna Nicole.

sounds like someone is speaking from experience.

I tend to like older guys and though I also like older girls better I seem to end up with younger girls more often

Yea same here, but for me, now that Im older and have obviously matured a lot, I look back and I realize that I really wasnt all THAT mature for my age. I just thought I was. lol

Turning 25 was a huge turning point in my life as far as my maturity level goes and self awareness and all that shit.

I'm more immature in a silly/goofy kind of way.

i seem to be more attracted to women that are older.

Not at all - the reason why my girlfriend is older than me is because she does look a lot younger than I am.
