well, he's taking over for chirac. the french election took place over the weekend. i think it's important to keep track of leaders of important countries around the world plus the election was all over international news in the last week especially.

She's an idiot.

I hope she gets more now. Seems like the sentence isn't stopping her from driving.

I think that 45 days of jail for a driving with a suspended license is excessive. Her fame is not soley based on her inheritance and last name. There are plenty of heiress' that no one evens know of who might be possibly unattractive or not a scenester. She is where is she is today because of the way she looks, dresses and her party girl life style.

Obviously she didn't learn her lesson with the 45 day sentence since she was caught driving AGAIN even after her sentence, so she should have gotten more. How many times is she going to tell the courts to kiss her ass?

where are you getting your info, i just check google news and there is nothing on there about paris driving after her jail sentence was handed down.

And YES, 45 days for driving on a suspended license is excessive. Think about this, when she was arrested for DWI, she didn't receive any jail, just probation, com serv, and a fine. And no one can argue that a DWI isn't more dangerous. For those who say that she was suspended because of the DWI so it's justified, that misses the point, because she is being put in jail for driving on a suspended not a DWI.

i think the penalty in NJ is either 1 or 2 years additional suspension. No jail. I could be wrong about that.

Years ago my grandfather used to get escorted home by the police for being to loaded. Then things changed alot. Now you cant even have an open container in the car half empty from what I gather. The point is she didnt listen to her probation: NO DRIVING. And got caught. OOPS I did it again. I didn't listen. If that were you or I, we would be in jail, rehab, piss test, no insurance,no license for 2 or more years. They are going to make an example of her because she is so popular and thinks she can do anything. But the fact remains that she is not above the law. What if she were behind the wheel of a car and killed someone, someone that you know and loved. Would you feel more angry at her? She should be using her fame to promote somethings that are positive. I am not saying that partying is not sometimes a positive thing, but with all that money use your own driver. What a dumbass
