well when tcfan showed me this thread and the movies...i had to run to the store and get one. reason being is that i bought the first model that was ever made. the aiwa cdc-mp3. that was about a year ago. while i was really amazed that i could now play my mp3's in my car and have the id3 tag scroll along the dash, i was disappointed with the skipping and the ugly colored display. i dealt with it long enough. this player is awesome! got mine and installed it saturday. but like with everything else in my life there has to be ONE thing to bother me with this player. correct me if im wrong tc-fan but WHY CAN I NOT SCAN THROUGH A TRACK WITH THE REMOTE!!!! with the other million features this thing has, (you can change the color of the display to 67 different colors and name your radio stations ) how could they leave this feature out! man oh man. other than that i am really satisfied with it. no skips yet and i have major potholes round here.. excellent buy.

yeah that was stupid not to scan with remote...but at least its not a really annoying thing...at least it has everything else done to perfection..

U guys can't be serious!!! I bought a player recently for under $AU300 and it searches through tracks... Admittedly it's not hte best quality unit, but it has the functionality
