I hope you're right and I too like Obama, though I also feel he is unelectable right now.
And truthfully, one of my biggest fears is a Hilary Clinton White House - she has a streak of crazy running down her a mile long, and it frightens me to think she may be the most powerful person in the world one day.
Seriously, she's fucking crazy.
Posted by Silky Johnson on May-11-2007 14:06:
So where are the Hilary chops?? You people are fucking slow.
Posted by igottaknow on May-11-2007 14:10:
even though i don't care that much for Hilary, I'm going to vote for her just to piss off conservatives. after 8 years of bush, payback is overdue.

When it inevitably comes down to Hilary and Rudy, I'll be doing the exact same thing. =\

'cuz he's the most radical of all of them, would take go insane with the health care system, and wouldn't lift a finger against anyone else.

You just worry about you Prime Gypsy or whatever the devil it is you folks have up there and let the Americans deal with the tough decisions.
You know, like who the two parties in our horrendously bipartisan system tell us who we are allowed to pick for the next Supreme Moff of U.S. and A.
Great Success.
Posted by Silky Johnson on May-11-2007 14:23:
Hey, who remembers when Kim Campbell was our Prime Minister? How long did THAT last?? LoL.

and yes, if there's one thing worse than anything else in American politics atm, it's the point to which everything has become so partisan and emotional that people can't even discuss anything political, let alone make any progress.

Yeah like take away more freedoms and give more power to centralized government under the banner of "Save the environment"... global warming is brilliant.

No one reasonable when they see Morgan Freeman or Joan Allen playing the President in a movie questions the competence of the casting agent.

i'm so glad the republicans are in power to keep spending and big government down and protect our freedoms.
The Patriot act and running up the debt by spending billions on a war that had nothing to do with terrorism.
*clap hands

never sided with the republicans; however, I would rather have them, or anyone for that matter in power than Hillary, a woman who runs a "middle-of-the-road" campaign when she has the most liberal and socialist record of any one else running for president.
Whether or not people agree with Bush, at least he has a back bone. People in this country don't want someone who actually has any good ideas or is intelligent, they want someone who can talk well and tell them what they want to here.
I hate politics

's why I'm liking my choice for president, even though it's an incredible fucking longshot.
