i have a question for you though.. if someone offers to buy something, are you allowed to say that you will buy it for a higher price?

someone ed me for that today, and i was just wondering if it was a mistake to do that.

well, it's been a few weeks, i guess i'm not getting an answer.

People not following through....

I've had two orders placed, saying they want specific recrods, contacted them, worked everything out, and I've never recieved payment. This is very frustrating especially since I was asked for that record twice. Someone else could of gotten it. Only serious people should use this forum. I want to thank Stormdance, Clyde77, and ABTsportsline for theirs orders. Everything was great about the transaction. Thanks again.

...sucks that this happens but what can ya do?

John - since all the interactions take place over email there's no way of knowing who offers what price for what, so they could just make something up in order to sell it that higher price to somebody else... I can't dictate rules over what happens in a private exchange, this is just here for whoever wants to use it, that's it.

I didn't delete any of your posts, it could've been one of the other mods?

Before you mouth off about something at least get your facts straight.. I just read that thread and see the confusion, however #1 - why are you telling me off?, #2 - ppl were only mouthing off before you (apparently) cleared up the issue, hence if I were to step in without having all the facts I'd only be taking sides in an issue I had no involvement with and just taking one person's word over another?

Shit man, no respect these days... Telling ppl off for no reason - I spent a few hours customizing this forum for people to use and you pull this shit - if you don't want to post in here then fine, but grow up and swear elsewhere buddy.

There was another thread where pneumo was saying don't sell to ABTsportsline i think that is the one he is complaining about..

i was wondering where it went too.

IMO this pneumo guy is out to rip people off, but hey, that is just my opinion.

ok i am a little confused...i read the rules...BUT

i am wondering if we are allowed to "TRADE" CDrs of "live sets" in the forum...like my CDR of Tiesto live sets for yours type of thing?....is that a problem even though "NO" money is exchanged??

i dont see a difference in trading live sets this way as oppose to sharing them through other ways that we do...lemme know

and if TRADING this way is not allowed i understand...but the thing is this...i have a bunch of old CDRs with alot of live sets on them and i really feel like its a sin to just throw them away....

if I cant TRADE them here..i is it ok if i post in the Chill Out Room or here that i have a bunch of live sets for FREE...that is if i cant TRADE them...i will then jus wanna give them away as oppose to throwing them in the garbage...might aswell make someone happy...

i have not ripped one person off. abt ripped me off by sending a bounced check. and now, he's mysteriously gone. every other transaction has been perfect. i just posted that one because when i complained about it, the thread just disappeared out of the blue. but no one seems to care about that. unfortunatly, the people that i've had fine business with, have not posted anything about the transaction. it just sucks that i get a bad name and get ripped off, just for telling my opinions and complaints. thats all. i meant no disrespect to you swamper.

i don't know what has happened here, but ABT is not mysteriously gone, he is in the Air Force and can't reach a PC for quite a while. If you had any problems I'm sure you can figure it out with UrDreamGirl (or Grl?). try sending her a PM.

god what a mess. i suggest people keep it within ebay, at leat thenm your insured etc. and ebay can help deal with these sorts of things. for the small fees you pay to list an item, i tihnk its worth it.

hey swamper, why isnt there a pm button under peoples name, most people reply to a post with pm me or something and it is inconvenient that there isnt a pm button, can ya put one =)

there is one, must be something wrong from your end

So many time wasters and dead buyers here. There should be a system or a thread that actually post comments about their experience with buyers and sellers.

Is there a way to stop it with the ebay threads, they are so annoying. Or a rule saying they have to say it in the topic, i don't know let me know thank you.

Swamper, you're doing an excellent job. Always adding features to make the forums more efficent for everyone to use
