I'm gonna celebrate it. Its the one day, moms know they'll expect extra treatment and I'm gonna give her that. I do give her gifts on other days for no reason at all except that shes my mother and shes given everything she has for me.

I'm not gonna "boycott" mothers day just because its "commercialized", Its just another day and I jolly well am gonna make it her day.

And that comment from orbax about poor people is just plain sad. U trying being born in somalia and see how u becoming rich living there..

i got my mom something today cus 99% of other mom's who's families bought into the commercialism are getting shit and i don't want my mom to feel left out on this day. She woke up with quite the smile today

Im still going to buy my mom a nice card. She always sends me thoughtful things, even when its not a holiday. The least I can do, being 720 miles away from her, is send her a card that she can put on the fridge to remind her that I think about her.
