I went to university whilst working so I have been at my career for 10 years now, the past 5 years have seen me earning a fairly substantial amount of dosh. I bought my first house at 20 and moved here on my own at 25.

Now I aspire to be a housewife.

nothing wrong with that Rachel... being a mom is definitely in my life down the road

I landed my current career from dropping out of Law & Security years ago. (I wanted to be a cop.. haha)
I have thought about going back to school for the last year. I would like to look at taking courses eventually for engineering. I can move around in my current company to keep me occupied for the time being.

During my schooling I also learned a great deal of graphic design.

So... I'm currently looking at firms in Toronto in Planning, Branding, and Design. Whatever I get into I want to work my way UP!

I went to school for the same...and am doing the latter. Weird

same here, but i'm not sure whether i wanna be a "marketing exec" per se. I have little respect for the corporate world.

edit: then again, it really depends on the company. i don't think i'd want to work in a large company making money for some old rich white guy who just happens to be a shareholder.

Civil Engineer. Build the worlds tallest sky-scrappers, bridges, tunnels, you name it.

I used to feel as strongly as you do, but there is good to be done in every company, large or small, publicly owned or not. I really despised the corporate world for awhile but I've been working for (what I consider to be) a fairly socially responsible company in this particular industry and it's fascinating to see the social and environmental issues that need attention everyday. Eventually, if I don't pursue law, I would like work in a field that involves CSR - keeping a company honest in the community and with its customers. I just submitted my MBA application this week with the intention of pursuing a career along these lines.

it was just to give an explanation of what i would do. i wouldn't ever work for the US anyway. but their behavioural science unit is top-notch. this site had a good description of what profilers do, which seemed relevant especially considering a lot of departments around the world are modeled after them

Ahhhhh I thought you were listing RCMP and FBI as your next options - didn't realize you could click.

P.S. I love you.

Recently graduated with my honours in Electrical Engineering. Once I get my PEO, i would like to pursue a Masters in Electrical Engineering or some branch of Business.

I would also love to teach later down the road, when i am ready to retire.

As of right now i am looking for jobs in the Toronto area so I can move up here.

I always wanted to be a bad ass computer hacker. Just finishing my comp. sci degree and realized I'm not nearly nerdy enough to compete in the fast pace world of computer espionage.

Soo, I've decided to chase after the things I love the most. Good music and snowboarding. So I'm looking for a job in Denver, I've heard they have some of both. Every thing else good should follow.

Finishing Computer science degree. I've been working in the field for years, but don't really enjoy it all that much.

Want to start a family, other than that, we'll see how things go.

Working on my Electrical Engineering Degree from Queen's. I would like to do something in finance since demand is growing for analysts with knowledge with the fields of Integrated Circuit Design and Power Systems.

Would like to work in California, play golf and go to clubs every weekend until I find that special girl to have some babies with :P
