That I cognitively remember was E.T.
I am sure that I saw some Disney movie at a theater on base before that, but I know I saw E.T. in the theater, and all the other movies I know I saw were released after.

I was never allowed to go to the theater until I was a teenager. First one I saw was Batman Forever.
Jurassic Park

God, I was probably three or so when I first saw mine. I wouldn't be able to tell you what it was, though.
ET
summer of 82. I was 4 years old & cried at the end.

I have no idea.. maybe some disney movie. Aladdin or some shit maybe?
My first was Bambi, and I cried when the mummy deer died.
Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. My uncle took me.
I think the next one I watched was Home Alone with some schoolmates.
First movie I saw in the theater was Ninja Turtles 2.
Wow, a lot of these were before my time. I know the first movie I saw without parents was Goldeneye. I'm sure the first ever movie was a Disney film though... Oliver & Company maybe? Not sure.
i think my first one was Robocop
I remember exactly how it happened...
I was riding with my dad while he was working in his van. It was night time and we was coming home from manhattan and we was stuck in traffic on 59th st. The block from 3rd ave - 2nd ave there use to be this movie theater right there and we waiting for the light to change and my dad pointed to the sign and said can you read that...we're gonna go see that. I had no clue what he was talking about, all I know is that it said ROBOCOP in big red letters behind a white light up board. I didn't even know what a movie was...all I know is my dad said we was going to see it.
So we drove onto the bridge and my dad was kinda mad at me, he was like you don't know what that says...and I didn't say anything. I remember him being really mad at me for not knowing what it said but that was probably him giving me some tough love. I remember being scared of him being mad at me but i knew what it said i just didn't know what it was. So on the bridge I said it said robocop but I don't know what it is...he smiled and said i'll show ya...
then i sat there in his truck and we were driving back home and i kinda fell asleep. he woke me up and we go out at some mall (bay terrace mall) and thats where I saw my first movie...and robocop. I was in awe!
