-- Roll call: DETROIT ELECTRONIC MUSIC FESTIVAL!

I am from the states and will be hitting up Windsor Friday night. Anyone know of something free and electronic that will be happening that night (renegade sound systems, etc)?

Posted by Skipper on May-22-2007 02:13:

I just spent the last little while mapping out all of the different parties I'm interested in, along with the hotel and plaza of course.

Now, if only I could find a victoria's secret in Detroit! Is everyone going commando there or what? because I can't find a single store.

Posted by Skipper on May-22-2007 02:15:

Here's also a really well organized list of every after party as listed on detroit luv - all in chronological order with price, location, hours, line up, etc. PERFECT!

Beatport is putting on the Mnus showcase and presales are $25 through wanttickets.com. Has anyone else bought one yet? Can I do three parties in one night?

Model D TV: Movement 07
By: Tom Hendrickson

It is loaded with techno and other electronic music talent from around the world. Now in its eighth year, the festival once known as the Detroit Electronic Music Festival (DEMF), then later called Fuse-In, is now called Movement 07 and is run like a year-round business by Ferndale-based Paxahau Promotions.

The three-day party during Memorial Day weekend features performers from Europe, as well as South and North America. In this week's episode of Model D TV, videographer Tom Hendrickson interviews Paxahau's Jason Huvaere and gets a preview of one of Detroit's most important cultural events.

Hook me up with the shopping info, lady!

Posted by Skipper on May-22-2007 20:12:

My only info is that there is no VS in detroit!

Posted by Watts on May-22-2007 23:18:

Do you guys know which strip clubs in Detroit play ghetto tech? If the answer is all of them, which one is the best?

I grew up in windsor, so can head to an awesome party and visit some old friends at the same time.

Also, I used to do all my shopping at Victoria's Secret...

You can find one here...

SOMERSET COLLECTION
2800 W. Big Beaver
Troy, Michigan 48084
2 Miles West of the I-75, Exit 69
248.643.6360

Its about a 30 min drive from downtown Detroit.

If you think you'll want to drive it, send me a pm and i will give you exact directions.

DJ Evil P is playin BOOM BOOM ROOM (Skybar) on Saturday for one of the afterparties...

No idea about Sunday or Monday tho...

VS is everywhere... you got one on 14Mile at Oakland Mall, thats north on 75, then another at Southland Mall, which is on Eureka, thats's south on 75. Both about 20-30 mins away from DT.

I can't go, right across the river too.. Have fun tho!

lol, really? an after party in Windsor with Evil P? *scratches head*

I was hoping there was a VS downtown detroit because I'm not the one driving.....14 miles out is kind of a far trek for me.

Yeah I saw that last night.. WTF!!!

Posted by Skipper on May-23-2007 19:57:

I don't mind it being cool (probably better anyways) and I don't mind it being cloudy but I can imagine thunderstorms would seriously interfere with the electronics of the whole thing...

I wanted to go to this but I dropped the ball and didn't book anything on time. Go me. Hope you all have a great time.

As far as I know, Penny and Darren have an open spot if you want to tag with them.

With two words: you're grounded.

Actually, you're cutoff works even better
