are all rockstar games published/financed through TakeTwo?
because i'm pretty sure the money they are supposed to get from Manhunt 2 is supposed to keep TakeTwo afloat until GTAiv (TakeTwo is in horrible condition, marketwise). speculation has constantly been floating around that EA has them in their ironsights, which would be pretty damn shitty mcfucked.

yes the last game to get banned was about 10 year ago it was carmegedon 2

Somewhat related, except that its publisher (Electronic Arts) dropped it from its roster because they feared the fallout of such a violent/deranged game(it was rated AO when first submitted to the ESRB). Manhunt 2 is in the development can, has the publisher ready to press(maybe already pressed), but is being so severely limited by external sources.
I played it a long ass time ago on my friend's modded PS, seemed more comical splatter slapstick than Manhunt's dark style.

Germany does allow shooters, but they will censor it so that humans are not killed (i believe Half Life 2 has the Combine models exchanged for robots that "leak oil" when you shoot them). I remember reading how this came about after a massive school shooting was committed by a person enthralled in his video game fantasy world.
The UK, don't they have a censorship system called the Video Nasty list, banning certain films from ever being shown/purchased/smuggled into their country? One of them being Clockwork Orange

Guys I checked with EBGames today, and they said Manhunt 2 has NOT been cancelled for the Wii. Nintendo decided to allow the game, and it has been given a new release date in October. I have mine paid in full.

its the same for all systems. ps2 will also get on the same day. but it could have content removed from it, thats why the delay. lets hope not.
