Look the Isralies ethnically cleansed the neighborhoods. Now there are fewer arabs where there were fewer than a hundred years ago. The Israelies have also gone as far as to steal water WATER from their neighbors. Israel is causing a huge amount of trouble to their weaker neighbors and no one can do anything. It is best for the Israelies that the current American way, of protecting Israel, doesn't change. Because when it does the Israelis are going to get what they deserve.

you can't explain why your UN can't stop missles reigning down on Israel. you don't want to. but you'll hide behind the UN intellectually to mask your contempt for a country that could easily re-occupy the country that lets terrorist wage daily acts of war against her.

you haven't the slightest notion of the restraint Israel expresses despite her abilities. but you've been trained like pavlov's mutt to blame Israel for taking some initiative.

OH YEAH, I can fully well see the restraint Israel showed with all those pre-emptive strikes, countless number of them. I dont support or flash joker-card UN here, they're not the issue. Its the common sense here, the Geneva conventions, treaties, agreements that are broken here. OH, and then it was discovered that Israel actually planned that war MONTHS IN ADVANCE! You want me to pull out that story? Huh? Hmmmmm, yeah, that evil Hezbollah! Surely there are pesky terrorists who strike Israel, but why does a sovereign nation of Lebanon have to suffer as a result? Look, today Lebanese armies are battling Islamic radicals in some refugee camp. Why cant Israel help here? Now's their chance. This shows that Lebanon is not a terrorist state, not a terrorist government and should be treated properly with dignity and respect. How would you feel if your country was carpet bombed with illegal weapons all because some other idiot wanted to wipe out an out-of-control militant group? Would you be happy?

good. then you would understand that Israel does not want to re-occupy Lebanon for hope and respect for a better future for both countries. however they should not hesitate to eliminate the threats that come from within Lebanese borders.

you obviously have little sympathy for northern Israelis living everyday worrying about random rockets landing in their schools and kitchens since you refer to lebanese terrorists as "pesky". thats where you are at fault IMO. are you sure you have a clear understanding of what is considered a daily mortal threat to your existence? you obviously don't.

IT ISN'T A TERRORIST STATE! but a bunch of people who want Israel wiped out at all cost including innocent Lebanese civilians seem to be running the show.

Ummmm, last time I checked, Hezbollah came in south Lebanon as a response to Israeli occupation of Lebanon.

Why should ordinary Lebanese civilians suffer as a result? Will that decrease the number of rockets that are fired into Israel? Absolutely not! Israel has inflicted more damage on Lebanon and civilians in one campaign in 2006 than all those Hezbollah rockets.

I guess then Lebanese civilians must take the brunt of Israeli fears and Israeli security is far more important than those of other people of other countries (many times has Israel attacked pre-emptively other nations). Surely Hezbollah is wrong for their actions, but what Israel is doing is not right either. I dont support or condone actions of either. However, Israel is the more destructive side here.

Check your intelligence, bud. Lebanon has at least 2/3 of the country under control, as seen in elections and areas-of-control. However, the more Israel will bombard Lebanon, the more Hezbollah supporters there will come out of it.

The existence and happiness of Israel is far more important than existence and happiness of millions of other displaced Muslim people, it seems. If you add up all the little dirty tricks and wars and strikes Israel has done against its neighbours and other states, only an insane person would label Israel as a model state, Geneva abiding and trustworthy. The hatred for Israel will grow, my friend, because most people, westerners like you and me, still dont understand and refuse to understand the plight and desperation of Muslim people around the areas affected by Israel. Only an idiot can sit and watch and assume that all these negatively affected Muslim people are happy that Israel has ruined their lives.

Yeah, the Israeli idiots who have bombed a poor Lebanese person's home for decades. No wonder why there are so few Lebanese who even live in the close 10-20 miles of Israeli border, they just couldn't handle it anymore. You have definitely lost track of how many times Israel has bombed the heck out of Lebanon LONG BEFORE Hezbollah came around. So Hezbollah is not the one who got the crap started. Lebanese people wanted someone to come and fight for them, to resist the brutal occupation and disrespect of their lands, and the rest is history. Hezbollah has done more for the Lebanese peoples future, security, rebuild more schools, homes and lives than Israel ever could. And you know it. And for that Lebanese people, a lot of them support Hezbollah. Because Israel could care less about the future of Lebanese people, just like Israel shows how much it cares for Palestinian people. Haha.

if your roomate likes to sit in his bedroom window and lob molotov cocktails at people walking by your house on the sidewalk, why should you suffer the wrath of the SWAT team that would no doubtedly kick in your front door and tazer your face off while being put in handcuffs?

sorry, this is not a sensitivity contest being waged over there. it was never, and isn't meant to be.

when tens of thousands of rockets decimate your countryside and your people live in fear of them on a daily basis there is very little recourse left but to take care of a problem that was never meant for you to take care of in the first place. you do what you can against an enemy that knows no difference between civilian and military.

as long as rockets randomly rain down out of Lebanese airspace how much, really, should Israelis care about the future of the Lebanese people just short of not re-occupying their country again?

you forget, Palestinians are cared much less for by their Arab brothers in the Arab world.

Palistinians are just pawns. i know thats a shame but in the Arab world its the God's honest truth.
