I'm playing it now and envisioning 30 stories of drunkenness/lighting/smoke/bass

edit: and one jesus pose on top of the decks, followed by a 20-foot crowd dive

All of this, by 10:15. Guaranteed.

Debut of "jabbin' house" to follow.

I'll open bar your face!

And if anyone would like to join us for pre-set shots, I'm sure we'll wind up in the Excaliber bar for a drink or shot just before 10.

Well then you'll be happy to see that my latest production is a jabbin' house mashup of that and "My Humps" called "Mouth Humping."

Got there way late. Rob, sorry I missed your set. I've been dealing with roommate nonsense all weekend, spilled into last night's going out. Will def be there next Friday, though.

man I was just gonna post about it.. Xpander f'ing ROCKED.. so great to hear after a long while at the club... RJ started his set w/ it. When it came on I was on the 3rd floor.. I was like "NUH UH..." heh it was killer! great nite!!! had so much fun. heard some really good music from all perps.

RJT started with some glitchy dirty type of stuff which was pretty cool.. moved to a more classic banging slower prog house a while after that, good beats.

Phatt Ivan threw down some nasty dirty stuff, had a real good groove going.

Funk Shui was good too but not my fav of the night.. I just don't remember what he played.. :<

As stated above RJ started with Xpander which was ridiculous - and the crowd response was similarly ridiculous.. I think it was just like non-stop screaming throughout the whole intro part.. sick sick.. I mean I think everyone had the same thought on their mind "OMGGGG I havent heard this song in years!!!!!!!" He also played my Beyonce mix which was fun to hear - followed by his and SKS's remix of Daft Punk, a pretty crazy fun track.

Ben Brown played some epic stuff with some epic breakdowns and builds.. was pretty sweet. He really had the crowd moving and involved - great interaction. He played his Imogen Heap rmx and new track on Audiologic - don't remember hearing the first one () but the 2nd one was pretty cool to hear @ Vision. His debut in the main room, I think he really had a lot of fun in there.

Jesse J played some pretty crazy sheit.. little more "commercial" sounding for lack of a better word.. it sounded like stuff you might hear at Crobar on a regular Sat night. Not a bad thing, just not my cup of tea. The crowd was enjoying it very much tho it seemed.

Finally, it might have been one of my best pic nights ever.. got some pretty sweet shots. Localized is one of my fav events to shoot at.

great review, now i'm starting to piece together the majority of the night. harder, faster, stronger remix was fucking tight. ben played a sick set also, really bangin.. man last night was ridiculous. i'd have to say my favorite sets of the night were rob's, rj's, and ben's.. nice job fellas.

dang I took 1065 pics.. this might take a while to weed down lol

Posted by trance-ecj on Jun-17-2007 20:13:

got there early, but couldnt stay late...heard the early djs and most of Rj's set, but had to leave, which is too bad.

Great job! Xpander was cool too.

Had a ton of fun last night, "Fire" sounded fucking tits on a system that big - thanks again to Milo and Vision for having me down, and sorry we had to bail relatively early.

By the time we got home, I was in no shape to be anywhere but bed

The dude after RJ, not sure what his name is, was playing some mega-cheese....but the last guy tore it up...really fucking good. Great night!

I agree, it was a great night

Which tracks did you find cheesey, if I might ask ?

Ben and RJT I'm so sorry I went missing last night! I passed out at 11. Sounds like I missed a good party.

#2 yes and no.

It's literally been years since there was a dj set that impressed me in the least, until last night.
I saw a guy from Stevens Point, of all places, mixing Guns and Roses into Stevie Wonder
and it was wonderful.....made me appreciate the good djs a little more.....

This is said after not hearing a dj mix in years that I have found to be remotely interesting....
