what a shit nite for me
1 the sound system was shit one of the spekers by the dj booth was cuting out most of the nite........
2 shit venue to have one of the best dj in the world to play
3 it was too daaaaaaaam pack the club fit's about 400 Ppl and there was 600 Ppl if that was the case have the event in the Koolhaus
4 the dj booth was to high could not take any pic's sorry guy's
the only good thing about the event for me was i got
to see some friends that i have not seen in a long time
the first hour was awesome but can't say that for the rest
of the nite
I can just imagine what the Lawler sunrise set will be like on Skybar.....everyone who went had to have known it was going to be packed to the rim up there.....small venue and big name DJs don't work in Toronto.

im sure it will be packed but I doubt it will be as packed! hes not as big of a draw as ferry is!

Awesome party, great to see so many old faces (and some new ones). My biggest beef (as probably everyone else's is that it was so short
. Ferry NEEEEEEEEDS to play a long set in TO...regardless he was on FIRE!
Other than the sound cutting out once in a while (I think they fixed that towards the end), it was a magical night

Having gone to Dragonfly the night before its hard to compare the two. Tunes were slightly better in Niagara, but vibe/crowd sucked. Even though last night the tunes were good, it was friennds and TAs that made the party.
Overall a good night
I loved hearing MO drop Disco Demons for the 2nd straight night
I loved Mark's set btw...excellent opener - Robbie Williams - She's Madonna (??? Remix)

I should have known the night would be a bit disappointing when I got there super early to find them charging $35 at the door (when the website clearly listed $20 b4 midnight).
The sound was just horrible, and only compounded by the fact that the speakers kept cutting in and out.
The third strike was the over-crowding. Just waaaaay too many people up there. If anyone figured out a way to carve out a place to dance - congrats. Tell me how you did it so I can use your technique next time.
I did really enjoy Ferry though - good tracks, high energy, and he was very fun to watch.
Skybar - 4/10
Ferry - 7/10
Alright up and feeling fresh so here we go:
Arrived and waited in line before 10 figuring it would be a bitch to get in...turns out it really wasn't. I have no idea why I paid for parking, I probably would've gotten away with it for free, but then again 5 bux was not the end of the world compared to what others had to deal with.
Got in no problem at all, M.O was meh....ok ya he sucked as normal, really felt this was his worst of all times I have seen him, liked the way you cut it down Nada LOL, first time we are on the same page ha ha.
As usual enough walkers instead of dancers, wow the creep factor was in effect, oh and the big muscle bound dudes, WTF seriously. The look at me crowd was also around tonight, could you next time go stand in a corner and give us room to dance? thanks heh heh. Place was packed but not as bad as I figured it to be.
Ferry's set had its moments, but he really needs more diversity, though I still left satisfied with what was played, I just wish the set was LONGER!! I mean we all paid good money for this and barely 3 hrs? I didn't expect it to go till sunrise, but 4 am woulda been nice, too bad the club was shutting him down.
Was great to see the TA's out there havin a good time or at least makin the best of it. Met new ones, Dan(24/7) was great to meet you man glad you made it in and early like you said you would, you can party like a mofo! can't wait to do it again. Morty(Chris) you're awsome dude, gave your friends a ride home really nice people I gotta say. Met some more TA's and I'm sorry I forgot your names but still so good to see you. Of course running into the ones I always see, Kat, Sonja(thanks so much for comming), Coxx, Nada(You are the best dancer there, I don't care what anyone says) and Ali very nice talking to you hope I wasn't buggin you too much. Lisa you didn't look happy....
Overall I'd say most people I ran into were quite nice. Skybar is nice, but not for this, EDM needs lights, walls, big sound etc. Was a nice feeling night, and a good excuse to take the day off work

If they do more big name DJs at Skybar, they really need to get rid of the VIP areas...they took up so much valuable dancing space, and they were being so Anal last night about being like 1 Inch into the VIP area and everything...
