P.S. Diving was good though ( the only thing actually because food sucked too)

I`m sorry, but I can only shake my head when I read some of the responses here. Ibiza is the biggest concentration of the biggest DJs from all over the globe for all EDM Styles in some of the best clubs the world has to offer. Basically it is like the whole island is a club inhabitated by "us" - by clubbing people.

Sorry, but if you don`t enjoy Ibiza then you should really consider to quit clubbing. That these clubs get shut down IS a tragedy for the whole scene and for the music. This world is global as is the scene. It does not end behind your comupter screen...

For the rest of you, here are some Amnesia moments to enjoy (can you say "ice canon" )

Well, not really the whole island
http://www.ibiza-hotels.com/maps/ibiza_map.gif

The main clubbing areas are just the Eivissa (Ibiza Town) vicinity (including Playa den Bossa area where Space, Bora Bora, and DC-10 are located), San Antonio, and along the road in between. But there is plenty of clubbing in those places.
Maybe that means there's plenty of land for building new clubs.

And isn't not just clubbing people on the island either. When I went, in my hotel (near Playa den Bossa), there were lots of families with young kids there. I guess as long as clubbers can still do what they do, it's all good.

I don't know what kind of restaurants you frequented but I had some amazing dinners in Ibiza Town. There are tons of great restaurants there. Ibiza is the mecca for edm heads. Why do your posts always reek of negativity? The Cream nights at Amnesia were AMAZING!

i agree with the majority that this is a tragedy. i have never been to ibiza and was planning my trip their for next summer. all i can say is that i hope this isnt permanent and that these clubs reopen with no future problems...i was certainly looking forward to checking out those 3 places next summer while im there

and still are....

food wise if she stayed in san antonio there are alot of shit english influenced meat pie type restaurants, for good food you have to venture out into the island, and around ibiza town

Posted by SidMl on Jun-11-2007 20:48:

ouch. for this summer i was trying hard to decide on whether to go to cuba or ibiza. someone wisely suggested that ibiza will probably change less in 1 year than cuba can. so go to cuba now, ibiza will still be here next year.

it'll be interesting to see the castro brothers survive past ibiza (and 5 US presidents, 5 soviet priers, the cold war, ...)

Gee, which other major club do Bora Bora, DC-10 and Amnesia compete with for patrons...
