Thats cool. I chose not to study marine biology (they have that course in Hull too) because I have friends who have studied it. I dunno if its the same in the US but over here I was told the first 2 years is spent learning about single celled algaes.

Like 90% of school is just showing up - the rate sort of drops to about 78% after school, but it's still pretty considerable nevertheless. :P

Well they don t give scholarships to international students just like that..maybe once there and having good grades or something..
There are other ways to pay for tuition like beeing a teaching or research assistent..getting grants and stuff..
The problem to get the student visa I need to show the US government that I have the money. Bank account has to have at least 28.000US$

Fresher week started yet? I went to Birmingham, And the best advice I can give you, is to come out with a 2:1 or higher, Ive got the impression employers look down on you with any less, and so they should.

Yeah its Freshers week, i got a pub quiz tonight at the stuident nightclub lol.
The nightlife is good. Really enjoying it, i've got to sign up for Scuba Diving as one of my modules in later today
