The background riff sounds like salt n peppa - push it
heh i leave TA for months come back still the same old thing. this could go on forever...
but yeah i think timba sampled push it. actually i'm sure of it.
funny thing is... even your favorite trance producers probably respect timba for his producing.
How do people on this forum manage to bash sandstorm and then praise this garbage? Not saying that Sandstorm is amazing, but it's miles ahead of this cheesy shit.

I dig it. I've always been a Timbaland fan based on his beats.
that whole album rocks. been listening to it for a while now.
Time, Scream & Boardmeeting are my favorite tracks. I only wish Magoo had more influence on this album other than his short verse in Boardmeeting, but overall I give it a 2 thumbs up
it's aight...reminds of sexy back
omg there are some major douchebags in this thread. lol

| Originally posted by ibizzzaaa Dude, the lyrics are horrible and so is the instrumental production of this song. Anyone who can tell an ass from a whole in the ground will agree with me. This production has the word "cheap" and "made to sell" written all over it. Yeah sorry for being narrowminded and refusing to listen to some shit that the media tries to feed me and make me buy. The true narrowmindedness comes from people who actually seriously listen to this shit and ignore me when I recommend them something like, let's say, Boards Of Canada, because none of their friends listen to them, nor do they ever get any radio play. |
ibizzaaa you is dumb
its always some sort of conspiracy.
ta vet OUT
TOO MUCH HATE!!
Timbs-1
you-0
I have been a silent fan of timbaland for years...his work with Missy Elliott was awesome. I heard some of his early work when I was up in NY back in early 90's the guy has a sound that makes just about everyone's heads bop....
Some of today's biggest Pop Artists owe their success to his groove...knocking someone who likes his style or a style that you think is stupid is really childish... NOW GET OFF MY LAWN!!
I think as far as mainstream music goes, Timbaland is miles ahead of the game. His production is tight, he turns dodgy artists into highly listenable (poppy) dancefloor fodder, and it works, it really does. I take my hat of to him, no commercial producer is on his level, and when he gives up on mainstream & turns to house, I'll be waiting...
Heaven knows, how much worse Sexyback could have been if he hadn't played with Justin's vocal?
Dick em, Court VD, Now I'm sick wit em
Ate a pack of cheese now I just bullshit wit em
Kick em, Nigga when your down, Look I got to get cha
Get away wit the crime, that's the wrong picture
I'm in a zone like a teen on a phone
H-I with no V, but I stay full blown
Hah yeah yo, Put nick out the door
You move quick but bitch, yeah your too slow
Get on your knees like a dog and scratch ya fleas
Somebody on the phone want to talk to your (??)
But I got my life and Mary what's the 411
Niggas get shook when I rhyme, You best ta fuckin run
Get out the way cause my recitals suicidal
I'm the rebel when I yell, Ya'll know, Ask Billy Idol
Son of a bitch cause he a son and yous a bitch
Me die for you, girl go dick your own bitch

Don't waste your hate on Timbaland, there are so many artists and producers that deserve it so much more
Why is this song anything special?
The lyrics are warmed-over, adolescent tripe, and the production has nothing novel or even especially complex or skillful.
I just don't get it.

| Originally posted by biznology the thing about this is that it is impressive, not that youtube vid, its shit. but that timbo has managed to collect everything about edm trance that people fell for in 97-02 and re-package it into rnb hip hop. |
It's average, on the brink of starting to suck, really. I CAN see myself dancing to this, but it's nothing I'd do more than a few times.

This kind of Tidewater house is actually pretty popular in that area. I wouldn't be surprised if it started to permeate its way into Clear Channel stations like crunk did in the early part of 2000.
Bombay
Kill Yourself
2 best trax on the album .
