We SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO disagree on this point. Fuck.
But then again, we're fans of different kinds of techno.
I love TRULY hard techno, and enjoy minimal along with it. Its a great warm up, or a sound that doesnt annoy me if it's not gonna be hard techno.
But I'd always prefer more banging techno. I dunno, this set just blew me away, and I wasnt the LEAST bit drunk or high on anything. Just completely sober.
The 34+ texts I sent out will attest to how retardedly good and fantastic I thought he set was. I couldnt help myself. And it took me forever to bang them off to bc I was dancing so hard. lol

Did you consider Liebings set "banging"? If anything, I found it was too subdued (don't get me wrong, Liebing is still one of my faves, but the set he chose mostly was not what I was hoping he'd lay on us).
His recent sets mostly have had a perfect build up to banging stuff....Saturday nights set was all build-ups...but never went to the next level for any length of time.

Not over all. It seemed to build up, getting hard and hard, and around 230 3am he was at his peak, the hardest tunes for a good little bit. It was pretty banging around that time.
But then he changed tempo and slow shit down again for the last hour.
On the whole, I heard minimal which I wasnt expecting, and the set wasnt as hard as every other set of his I have.
Though, Vrk said that this si the way he's playing now and completely called the temp/vibe of this set.
I enjoyed it all the same, even if I love hard techno and would loved a hard techno set too... thsi set was exactly perfect still in my opinion.
What a night, still thinking about it.
