Yes, that is correct Space Opera will now be at the Hudson Theater instead of the Shrine Expo Hall. Below is an explanation of the venue change posted on ravelinks:
"The issue with the shrine is that Space Opera is a 5 room party. We have had all of our djs booked for months and if we were to do it at the shrine then we would have had to cut 1 or more areas in order to run the party the way the shrine wanted it run.
So the dilemma we were faced with was either 1)we go with the shrine and cut 1 or more areas to fit with the venue or 2) we use a venue that we can fit all 5 areas and the vip room at. Because we had been promoting Space Opera with the full 5 room lineup before we ever announced running at the Shrine, we felt it was in the best interest of the party goers to run at a venue that would allow everyone to see every dj on the lineup.
We understand that either way someone would have a problem with our decision, but at the end of the day we felt that the music was more important and that is why we have now chosen to postpone our party at the shrine and move Space Opera to the Hudson.
Thanks everyone that understands and we are sorry that we cannot please everyone, but that is just the way things go sometimes. If you have any questions or comments you can send me a message on our myspace page www.myspace.com/spaceoperamusic
Thanks guys!"

yes area 2!!!! bob and thee-o!!! coming out to support
and of course dance!!!
damn.. i remember lyrics... LOL
well, this was what it was, a rave where a ton of underage kids, and i'm talking junior high age, went to get completely lost in their e-puddles and drug induced coma's but........... there were some shining moments of music from the night as well! comments of the night though: to michelle "you are so pretty for your age" and to bob "it's admirable what you're doing, you know spinning records at your age" lol, we were in candyraver hell!
first of all when bob said he was going to spin a house set i was, well, curious and unsure how he would sound. well, my feet liked what he was playing and i danced the entire set! nice work bob!!! unfortunately the sound was often often competing with the main stage area b/c there was only a curtain that separated the two areas. i mean really i'm not sure how the sound penatrated the area though, you know with the sound proof curtains they have these days
then lange and thee-o go on at the same time in the 2 different areas and i try to bounce back and forth between the two. i spent a bit more time dancing to lange's set since i had never seen him and his set was pretty amazing!!!! so great seeing thee-o though and dancing along to his great set.
lange let michelle and i dance on stage as his go-go dancers, which is something i've always wanted to do! i mean, i'm a better dancer in my head than in reality but still, with the tracks that he was dropping it was impossible not to dance!!!! it had all the elements of a great rave set! it was hard driving but had some beautiful melodies and lovely break downs with some seriously sick basslines!! loved it!
then on to afterhours at my place. good to see all those that came out for that. ugh, so tired now but gotta get the week started. work starts again for me wednesday and then it's back to being wild only on the weekends
michelle and bob, so much fun. thanks for getting us in bob and putting up with my silly abuse of you on the ride there and back
you know i love ya!

Space Opera turned out to be a lot of Fun actully. Sarah is so right about the crowd. It was pretty much jr high- high school kids!
14-15 year old girls where walking around with barely anything on CTFOed!
But Sarah and I rocked in our outfits and became go-go dancers for the night.
Bob's and Lange sets where both really good though! But I could have done with out life less ordinary and Anthem!
Even though Mars set pretty much stunk. It was good seeing him spin kinda brought me back to the days when I first started going to EDM events.
