I absolutely love this show.

Not particularly, although I will admit most do make me cringe. But then so do a lot of the people that go on the UK version as well. I find it way over the top and very fake - Almost theatrical. It's just wank.

If you like Ramsey then check out Kitchen Nightmares and Boiling Point. Both are incredible. The very original first and second series of Hells Kitchen are also pretty decent.

The F-Word also makes me cringe a bit but annoyingly I find myself liking it.

I like his stuff but this Hell's kitchen program is so over the top it's laughable.

At least they got rid of Aaron, but why give the pass to the banana girl, who got food out of the trash bin and attempted to recirculate it?

yeah, the fucking douche kept finding ways not to help out. In his last competition (breakfast for the military), he couldn't cook an omelet. Later on, Master Chef asks Aaron "what are you doing?!" and Aaron says "i'm not doing anything" and i was like jesus fucking christ.
They lost the breakfast meal to the women, and had to peel about 1k pounds of vegetables.
But they had to move all the vegetables from some loading truck into the kitchen to begin peeling. As usualy, Aaron is "on break, gentlemen."
Then when it comes time to peel, Aaron manually cuts off all the oxygen to his brain and pretends to faint and pretends to die (or something like that).
Once in the hospital, master Chef calls Aaron and tells him he's off the show for medical reasons and a hidden reason that he fucking sucks and probably poured 2 pints of sweat into everything he "cooked."
personally, i think he fucked up all the orders, then snuck out at night, went into the trash and ate all "aaron standard" omelets for himself.

I don't know, I think it's still probably fairly rare - I've worked in a lot of restaurants (ranging from swank to family), and for the most part people did their jobs well, even people who hated it.

The only time I've ever really seen anyone fuck with people's food it's usually been either:

A. The server fucking with it after the fact.

B. The server giving the kitchen the heads up to fuck up this customers order.

In my experience, it's usually just been the douchebags who deserve to get their food tampered with.

I was going to post a thread about how disappointed I was at a thread I read written by former McDonald's employees here in Brazil. That's where I first read about food being retrieved from the dustbin (even if accidentally), and immature acts from the self-proclaimed "McSlaves".

It was revolting, really, and they weren't talking just about obnoxious costumers
