one of my best friends used to make fun of me for using Arm & Hammer deodorant. the packaging was orange and it's supposed to be unisex, but he totally thought it was men's deodorant and made fun of me. 
I used to wear men's deodorant. I like the smell better than the girly shit.

Lasy Speed Stick 24/7 gel "powder burst"
Secret Platinum & Olay "botanical silk" = smells REALLY good
I don't like the smell of any of the Dove ones... at least not so far. I have noticed that I really don't like the gel one I have (gel is shite), and any company that claims "invisible" is a bunch of lying bastards.

if you think you dont smell very often, you prolly do and people are just being nice/standing far away from you.
aluminum is what people complain about so much in deodorant, but aluminum is the antiperspirant. so if you just get a normal DEODORANT you should miss out on all the bad stuff.
i have to say that the old spice and degree maximum or whatever its called are bad news, as you smell like deodorant and rotting flesh as it burns your pits away. at least it does for me, thats what i avoid in a deodorant|

this thread reminded me that i forgot to buy a new stick today.
im almost out . like to the point where the edges are rubbing against me.
