No, I know it's close, I'm just trying to stick more closely to the $200-300 price range. Plus you've got to add in shipping, a decent flash card (the 32 MB card that comes with most Canon cameras ain't gonna cut it) and possibly a case, which will put you in the $350-$375 range pretty easily.
Here are some pics I took with an SD750 yesterday. I took them while riding my bike, so some of the movement artifacts (although very little) are from trying to take a picture while riding. I think it gives a decent look at what kinds of pictures you can take. At least of the outdoor variety.

it was free shipping so thats moot. and yeah the 16mb card (thats what came with my sd800 when i got it) isnt much but i would HIGHLY reccommend an SDHC card anyways. they are quite cheap ($100ish for 4gb) and very large. no worries about the space problems most people complain about with sd.

Most of the cases we carry are shit though, with the exception of one, which might be alittle big for the SD800. Iono, I gotta look around.

Nope... and the price with a 2gb sd and a case is $325... I didnt realize that these things were still so pricey, thought the cost was lower.
If you want just the camera I can most likely do $295 on it.

The problem with sending to the UK is that you have to pay international shipping, which would be like $30-40 (not sure).

And bigger.
High quality ultra-compacts are perfect for intermediate needs.
The fact that I don't notice my canon in my pocket far outweighs (s******) the benefits of DSLR when you factor in straps and flashpacks and worrying about damaging a $1800+ camera in a club
