Well its the other reason I'm missing out. Tiesto's last few shows haven't really done anything for me...but that's just my preference.

Well, I heard something else about the stinjy ass Tiesto, and that makes me not wanna go even more. Tiesto is NOT God, he is just a lame ass producer whose productions actually blow donkey meatstick. I seriously don't even see how he has so many people wanting his ass. I really don't.

Even if I were offered free admission, with bottle service..I STILL wouldn't go see him. I don't support unfair people.

I think I'll go skydiving this day

He payed a decent show when he came to Houston in 2003 and up until then I enjoyed his productions, after then his style seemed to change and I didn't really get anything out of his shows. At Ultra 2005 he seemed more interested in posing for the different magazine cameramen then playing a set; whereas when PvD ripped him a new one when he went on afterward.

I won't bash Tiesto, Oakenfold or any other DJs I'm not into, nor the people who like them. Everyone has different tastes and I'll leave it at that.

Also, if ya want to go skydiving on the 25th your best bet would be Spaceland as their the only dz open during the week.

a) I wont bash them either, but I will bash selfish artists. (Check PM later)

b) I wanna go skydiving with ya, mate. Only way I'll go is if I have someone to jump off a plane with me; someone who's experienced. With my luck, my shoot will break and I'll splat on the ground lol.

I admit I dunno Tiesto too well to say if he's selfish or not, but off-stage when Brittany and I met him backstage, he was pretty down to earth and cool, and even made time to small talk a bit before his set. Him and I have the same star sign...what difference it makes no idea.

This was going to be in a PM, but what the hell...

LOL...okay, here's how it goes. While you are in student status (non-licensed), someone who is experienced will ALWAYS jump with you. In tandem freefall, your harness is attrached to someone wearing a parachute large enough to land both of you safely, instructor does most of the work.

AFF (Accelerated Freefall), the method taught for those wishing to either land their own parachute or get licensed:

Levels 1 through 3 you have two D-licensed AFF rated instructors with you in freefall from exit until your chute deploys. Before your level 1 jump your given a 6 hour class covering climb-out procedures, body-position in freefall, correctional hand-signals, practice pulls, AND what to do once under canopy. Now when your under canopy (what we call parachutes), one of your instructors will guide you down via radio "turn left, turn right, etc" and even tell ya when to flare (pulling both steering toggles down to land safely).

Here's a FAQ that can answer more questions: http://www.skydivehouston.com/faq.htm

Unfortunately, I can not jump with you until you are licensed, as I do not have yet a coach, AFF, or tandem rating. I need a few hundred more jumps for that. However, I am friends with alot of the instructors and videographers at SDH and can see if I can get ya a good deal on getting video. This weekend I will be at Skyfest in Rosharon. http://www.skyfestboogie.com/

Any other weekend weather permitting I'll be at SDH, just give me a all when you have $180 and a free weekend.

Interesting fact, there has never been a fatality at Skydive Houston. Injuries, yes. I've posted this before but the 90% of the incidents these days are from experienced jumpers attempting high-performance landings (swooping) with a perfectly good parachute overhead.

Statistically, driving a motor vehicle is more dangerous. So the day you decide to come jump, be careful going to and from the DZ
