That wasn't a difficult call. Delobbo (the guy who started the thread about what's going on in NYC that weekend) is friends with her and he said he was going to be here.

If her myspace says that, then she's def. going to be there. Not too excited about it though. i hate live singing at these types of things. They usually sound like shit.

saw eller at Armin Only, not too into the guitar riffs at a trance event, but oh well. I don't think the shit they threw down at AO would go over too well in NYC.

I agree I don't like singers or other musicians accompanying DJs doesn't sound good...train wreaks waiting to happen

Actually Armin worked on a track with her in DC a couple months ago. I haven't heard it but a collabo exists...I love her voice and think her tracks are good but live singers are eh for me. I would prefer if singers stood in the background and jumped up and down when their track is being played rather than sing it. Just my opinion.

Correct, I usually agree with you on the vocalist thing but in this case I don't. Jen is really talented, has an awesome voice and I don't think she will disappoint. I have heard excellent reviews about her past performances abroad. BTW she DOES also DJ so you never know what may be planned for the evening.

I see where you are coming from...not sure one way or the other tho, just mentioned it as a possibility. Her sets are pretty good tho in my opinion.

Edit: I also heard of another event going on at Tobacco Warehouse this weekend, some fashion show or some shit but it looks like they are still holding events there so why the change in venue. *shrugs*
