urrr, i'd like to hear other ppls views on this, but all i can say is last time i went to "bubbles" was for jez's bday (jeremy k), and i was shocked. it's where very, very young G/K heads from the western suburbs go, and listen to cheese, and think its a rave. i think phd and the melbourne "running man" were born there.

ive only been to bubble twice about 5 or 6 years ago but i thought it was good at the time, i dont remember anything about the crowd or whatever though once for a friends birthday, the other time to see nik fish

Melbourne.

People in Sydney are too cool to dance or enjoy themselves, and as a result, the clubs have no atmosphere.

Plus, no one does "recoveries" like Melbourne, Revs and 161 are just unbeatable on a Sunday morning. 2 Floors back in the day was great too.

youve obviously never been to a party like Habit, Sweetchilli, Chinese Laundry, didnt soups say that Sweetchilli parties were better than melb prog parties? Im not saying melb has a bad scene, its fucking awesome and kicks the shit out of Sydney in certain areas and genres, but you cant rate a city on one weekend spent there, the seedy little clubs with amazing vibes that no one knows about except the people whove lived in their cities clubs for several years are the real heart and soul of any scene.

Youre all lucky, the clubs in Riobamba de Ecuador play Love Generation and World Goes On five times each a night (all though the Salsa clubs are great and the woman are amaazing ) im going stir crazy to hear some decent dirty electronica again! fortunately i heard Bogota in Colombia (where im off to next) has one of the best night lifes and electronic music scenes in the world check out the lineup for the five day summer dance festival in Colombia this january

but i do have to say BOTH melbourne and sydney are pathetic compared to cities like Buenos Aires electronica is exploding in latin america and i suspect right now would be liek the golden age in ibiza, australia etc 8 or so years ago that old jaders like Bateman and Tachyon rave on about so much

Ok bubble nightclub.... well for one yes there are lots of drugs there ... which is why a lot of people are against it. Its a rather big club huge in fact. They play hardstyle downstairs and cheesy MOS house upstairs. check it out www.bubblenightclub.com the webpage makes it look so clean lol

Another thing is a lot of asians go there which is cool but some people tend to dislike that by claiming "triads" go there LOL .. but yeah it is a dirty club with the scummy people going there. However all ages of people go there.. i know 14 year old girls who go there and then you get old asian men in their 50s and 60s off their faces.. its a great club and always a lot of fun!

As opposed to all those nightclubs 'without' loads of drugs?

Bubble is far worse.

I reckon at most clubs probably 30% are on something. Would be far higher at bubble.
