fair enough, your entitled to your opinion and free speech and all that.

but think about it this way, someone has passed away here so if you dont want to say anything positive, common courtesy would be not to say anything at all because death is a sensitive subject.

you can say that you dont expect people to give a shit if you died but how about if you lose a loved one , come to this forum for support and get ripped into? would hurt right?

And this is without taking into consideration the fact that the individual in question here was one of the few wrestlers who could serve as a role model for kids and no doubt a lot of kids and even adults who grew up watching him will be saddened by his passing.

LOL! I haven't laughed that hard in awhile.. well done.

Benoit was a fantastic wrestler, and probably in my top 10. However, if the murder suicide thing is true: read here , then he's a fucking loser. It's just a shame two innocent people had to go with him.

According to lead investigator Lt. Tommy Pope, of the Fayette County Sheriffs Department, in Fayetteville, Ga., the deaths of WWE Superstar Chris Benoit, wife Nancy and son Daniel were the result of a double murder-suicide, WWE.com has learned.

Benoit failed to appear both at Saturdays live event in Beaumont, Tx., and WWEs Vengeance: Night of Champions in Houston Sunday night, after informing WWE of a family emergency. Several curious text messages sent by Benoit early Sunday morning prompted concerned friends to alert Richard Hering, VP of Government Relations for WWE, Inc. Hering, in turn, spoke with Fayette County sheriffs Monday, and requested that they respond to the Benoit residence to check on him and his family.

Authorities representing the Sheriffs Department initially had a difficult time entering Benoits new Fayetteville home Monday afternoon, which had been guarded by two large German Shepherds roaming freely around the property. Once authorities entered the residence, they quickly located the bodies of Benoit, Nancy and Daniel. WWE was notified of the discovery at approximately 4 p.m.

At 10 p.m. Monday night, Lt. Pope held a press conference in conjunction with Scott Ballard, the district attorney for Fayette County. The press conference officially ruled authorities findings as a double murder-suicide from within the home.

WAGA, a FOX-owned and operated television station in Atlanta, reported that investigators believe Benoit killed his wife and 7-year-old son over the weekend, then himself on Monday.

The three bodies have been received by the Georgia Bureau of Investigations crime lab, in Decatur, Ga., where autopsies will be performed Tuesday morning. Toxicology reports will not become available for at least two weeks.

I never though that this dude was capable of doing this. This is severely disturbing. I really should not be reading this at 2 AM. Probably will need a J now to help me sleep

Sources in the Fayette County Police Department are now working under the theory that Chris Benoit killed Nancy on Saturday, son Daniel on Sunday, and then killed himself earlier today.

Benoit was found dead in his weight room. Nancy was found dead in the living room. Daniel was found dead in his bedroom, accordig t an unnamed source in the department.

Lt. Tommy Pope told ABC News "the instruments of death were located on the scene," but didn't specify what those were or where they were found. Pope said the department was not actively searching for any suspects outside the house.

This is the point I was about to make, Thank you.

I expected criticism. My heart truly and honestly goes out to the wife, son and family, however I have absolutely NO SYMPATHY WHATSOEVER for any MURDERER who KILLS INNOCENT PEOPLE and then kills himself.

Role model? He is no Owen Hart.

Coward.

I guess those are some goods point, but we'll never know what drew him to do such a thing...even though it was wrong obviously...

wrestling is so full of troubled ppl, from the owner on down. McMahon's show last night pretty much lionized Benoit, and now we may find out he's a murderer.

Also, this is payback for the stupid stunt McMahon has pulled the last few weeks with his "fake" death, which in the end was trivializing Owen Hart (et al)'s deaths.

so fucking weird.

McMahon is undoubtedly one of the the worst human beings alive, if not ever

'My mom is going to die,' bleeding teen screams outside east end home

Three people are dead after an apparent murder-suicide in an east end home last night.

Police were called to the house on Knowles Dr., near Morningside Ave. and Finch Ave. E., around 9:30 p.m. after neighbours reported that a screaming teenage girl had come running from the home, bleeding from defensive wounds to her hand.

Inside, they found the lifeless bodies of a man, his common-law wife and the womans mother.

Investigators believe the man killed the two women before taking his own life.

The 13-year-old girl, who detectives identified as the womans daughter, was taken to hospital. She was released early Tuesday morning into the care of relatives.

"We heard her screaming for her mother," said one neighbour.

The man, who did not want to be identified, was sitting in a van with a friend about three doors away when the girl ran outside screaming.

He said the girl kept yelling, "My mom is going to die. My mom is going to die."

Neighbours said the girl is a Grade 8 student.

Ambulance paramedics pronounced three adults dead at the scene as police closed off side streets near the home.

Police initially treated the scene as a triple homicide, and called in officers from the Emergency Task Force and canine squad to look for a suspect.

The York Region police helicopter was also called in to help with the search, which was called off after investigators interviewed local residents and concluded that the dead male was the attacker.

I cant get into what they saw, but based on information received during those interviews, it leads me to believe (the mans death) was a suicide, said Toronto police Det. Hank Idsinga.

Idsinga said one victim, a 47-year-old woman, was in a common-law relationship with the man, and the other victim was her mother.

Neighbour Jitinder Manhas said Knowles Dr., which is lined with large homes, is usually quiet.

Manhas had finished giving her 8-year-old son and 12-year-old daughter a bath just before 9:30 p.m., when she brought the children downstairs for a snack.

Eldest daughter Davina, 21, was sitting on the couch watching TV when she said, "I see red lights flashing outside."

Manhas said she saw police arrive around 9:30 p.m., and that there were six cruisers.

"We saw a whole bunch of cop cars first, and we saw officers running out of their cars. I thought, well, maybe they're chasing somebody," Manhas said.

"It's a pretty quiet neighbourhood."

Autopsies are scheduled for today.

RIP Chris Benoit! What a sad thing to have happened.

I'll never forget meeting Chris the day after he'd won the WWE Belt, and he asked me if I wanted to hold it! Did I!

How do we know he did it? Perhaps it was the wife?

Posted by Spin Laden on Jun-26-2007 17:27:

authorities suspect it was him.. that the wife and son were killed earlier then he killed himself. I suspect it could have been a crime of passion. His wife was heavily involved in the wrestling business too so she knew lots of those types well before becoming Mrs Benoit.

These wrestlers travel all the time, on the road 300 days a year or so, so they have affairs and wives may too. I wouldn't be surprised if that was an issue there.. seems like it. But the poor child perished too.. so sad really.

The wrestling business (aka Vince McMahon) should take some heat here too.. pushing wrestlers to work so hard.. fueling steroids, pain killers, etc. But I guess more answers will come in so we can only speculate for now.

How can you say that when all the facts haven't been brought up yet? Right now they only believe that Chris murdered his family. Who knows what could happen next?

How can you be so sympathetic "when all the facts haven't been brought up yet?" I have the right to be empathetic as much as you have your right to be sympathetic.

Dude, I understand wrestling fans like to hang on for every little hope, or "Say it isn't so" thinking when all the indicators are so damn obvious.
