I understand your point of view Anth, but if all people are born with goodness why do even some children commit murder. Who remembers that case of those little boys in the UK who murdered a toddler & who now infact have new identities and are living in Australia.

Also I agree with how you say its how they are brought up/environment, etc that can make someone not know any better, eg: alcoholics. However thats not the case with all, some people can be brought up in an unstable environment, but still come out of it OK & lead good lives for themselves!

Whatever reason he had to murder his wife & son does not JUSTIFY why he SHOULD'VE ACTED UPON those reasons.

THE BOTTOM LINE IS, IS THAT THERE IS NO FUCKING EXCUSE TO TAKING SOMEONES LIFE, ESPECIALLY THAT OF YOUR WIFE & SON.
