I stand by my earlier suggestion for a Tyas / Durand mix:

Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up (Richard Durand Remix)

In all seriousness, I thought that Second Sun did a bootleg mix of this a while back? Has anyone heard that? I thought the Second Sun / Cedric Gervais mix of Another One Bites the Dust was cool.

Also - I think I just realized that vanditradio said he opened sets with this at the end of 06, which would totally be worth seeing just for the lulz.

You'd think so - but he's just so full of surprises.

What if he recalls the huge success that Prydz had with his remix of Another Brick In The Wall, and decides to take that classic another for another spin.

Yup
Second Sun's bootleg of thunderstruck == 100000x better, sorry sean tyas
SS's bootleg can be heard on one of pvd's einslive rocker that somehow no major groups ripped
but i found it

....

I'm just curious.
What must he be thinking before choosing a song to remix, how must his head be going to something like AC/DC.... and his 'apparent' trance brain closing on Thunderstruck...then actually liking the idea, and taking time out (?!) to work on it.

Then, coming up with this shit, APPROVING it, playing it live, maybe someday releasing it, and yet make money out of it.

MINDBOGGLING

no, first he has to rework Voodoo Child.

Posted by tnt_ on Jun-27-2007 11:57:

shit remix indeed.

his remix of Fly Away wasnt bad (although still similar sounds to every other remix he's made)

Probably he heard the Second Sun bootleg and thought "oh, that's a nice remix but i can do it better by just applying harderkick.wav and 0185-bassline.vst"

Bandwidth exceeded, I want to hear the gashness!!

Wow! That really sucks...some things should just be left untouched.

AC/DC is a very overrated band

Posted by shades_of_gray on Jun-27-2007 14:52:

I noticed this when someone posted this as one of there top tracks for June.

Only Mr Tyas has the nerve to butcher a track like this. Probably one of AC/DC's last high points imo. Gives me chills when i hear the Original.

There should be laws for crimes like this.

Tyas = Prick

How are they overrated??

They havnt changed there bluesy hard rock sound, they have used the same formula, and it always delivers.

I have never heard such a poorly produced piece of guff in all my life. Trance as a genre must be even more dead than I thought.

Sean Tyas uses the same formula evidently.
