So he used to be in New Order? What relevance does that have? It doesn't qualify someone to stand up and make an arse out of the whole DJing thing. I wouldn't expect Tony Wilson to automatically qualify to do lead vocals for the Happy Mondays just through his association with the whole movement.

Doesn't excuse the fact that he acts like a complete idiot behind the decks.

Some of you need to relax and realise it's not all about mixing technique and skill. This guy is your full blow proof that simply having fun while throwing down tracks is enough to work a crowd. People obviously love it and he gets everyone goin nuts. I think I would have a blast at one of his shows!

It negates the point of a DJ. Why not just play a pre-recorded CD and dance WITH the crowd ON the floor then?

Because it probably wouldn't get the crowd as excited as they are while he is up there acting like a tool?

I've seen Paul Oakenfold do the same crazy moves as this guy, and I've even seen him fake a mix, it's MTV's fault for putting him in the limelight when he really isnt a DJ at all. but yes what is the point of a DJ if he just plays a pre-recorded mix CD and acts like a fool on stage, its like britmy spears lip syncing to a recording of her own songs.

Well its true, he has been DJing, he's come by here a few times. I havnt ever gone though.
