there are only two good things about the summer: air conditioning and baseball season. other than that, there is nothing good summer at all.

mid winter here and been pouring rain for the last 3 weeks. Nowhere near the sort of temps you lot get in winter, but cold and rain = miserable.

ugh
14 hours in a swimsuit =
not the most comfortable item of clothing
company ones too, so no board shorts
the ones with the lining
i literally have marks on my ass from the chafing

I find the summer very uncomfortable, any room i have my stuff in gets so fucking hot, with all the electronics shit.

Any outdoor temp over 23c or so is too hot. I dont want to wear shorts or a t shirt or something.

what's wrong w/ shorts and a tshirt?

i hate the summer. it makes me sad seeing the guy in the cell phone/banana/monkey costume dancing on the street corner experiencing god's wrath.

nothing really, just not my preference naturally. Longer clothing feels more comfortable to me...similar to my preference to have long hair. Two things that are comforting to me, but at the same time I can understand how other people would feel they are inhibiting/annoying or something.

I dont think the hairstyle in my avatar would be comfortable though...

Posted by Allied Nations on Jun-28-2007 12:34:

i will never complain about it being too hot...

until someone else does

better heat than cold is all i have to say

im learning to like summer, i've been doing more and more active things this summer like running outdoors, biking, and spending less money. It's quite nice actually since I normally would be hibernating in the summer waiting for the winter to roll around for snowboarding season.

it's kinda nice to have an active thing to do every season, perhaps i'll try hiking and/or rock climbing towards the fall, i hear some of the views are spectacular during the fall foliage

Other than that, I try to stay out of my apt as much as possible since if I'm in it, I'll be running the AC and that means my electricity bill is gonna sky rocket and that's something I'm not willing to pay for right now lol...

Posted by XaNaX on Jun-28-2007 12:56:

summer > all other seasons

I really need to move somewhere that it never gets cold

Posted by Sunsnail on Jun-28-2007 12:57:

I would like to live in a climate where its perpetually hot.

there's a shit-ton of spectacular hiking spots not too far north of Manhattan, all in the Hudson Valley region. i can direct you to some of my favorites, or i'm sure you can find some good books about hiking in that area too. it's definitely one of the things i miss most about living out there... and mid-October (usually the weeks right before my birthday, Oct 28) is the best time for checking out the fall foliage.

Hawaii would be good for this, I don't think there is a single month where the average high temp is lower than 80
