Actually Australian weather sucks over the last few weeks, I blame T-bills for it.

Alright, I am sick of meteorologists coming under fire because their forecasts are wrong, the earth has been around for 4.5 Billion years; the human species for roughtly 40 thousand years; and the written meteorlogical record has been around for 300 years at most.

A meteorlogist looks for patterns and tries to guess on what will happen based on records and trends documented for the last 300 years. If you ask me the 300 years PALES in comparison to the age of the earth and its cycles of climactic change that it goes through. So if you non-scientific or non-meteorology buffs out there want to make it better, make a time machine go into the future about 1Billion years, and bring back all the records up to that point and THEN complain when they dont get it right.

Thats just my 2Cents on this issue.

Do most of you bickering idiots think that who you see on TV is actually a meteorologist? Chances are likely they are not.

If you want a real, no nonsense forecast... look at what the national weather service has.

And if you want to really know how the forecaster feel about the current situation... read the 'forecast discussion' that is at the bottom of the page.

The majority of the people that work for the national weather service have advanced degrees or have extensive military training. Only the best of the best work there.
