You move your body in a rhythmic pattern to the beat which is usually about 120-130 bpm.

Wow I looked up Technasia...I like a lot of their tracks! Thanks..on to more digging... you learn something new everyday.

Technasia does rock the fuck out.

Check out Oxia and Agoria if you haven't already.

Oxia - Not Sure
Oxia - Domino

are both excellent tracks

There's also a tune called 'My Black Sheep' (cant remember the artist) which is quality - Dave Clarke played it at Glastonbury last week as the opening track and it rocked on a loud system.

That's teh one - I bought if from beatport a few weeks ago.

Its one of those tracks that's asking for some quality effects to be layered over the top.

Dave Clarke was applying what sounded like Ableton's Beat Repeat to it

since the technasia hint came from me, i oblige you to get more into minimal :P
i'm a lot into minimal atm, i think dancing to it is much more fun than dancing to e.g. trance (with its imho boring "handsup" breaks)

recorded a neat minimal/neotrance set yesterday, you might wanna grab it:
Candiru - Minimal Compression
tracklist can be found on http://www.candiru.at/

the best thing about techno is less breakdowns. I like to find a nice middle ground between minimaller stuff, house and some techno... this seems to allow me to keep it going pretty well and keep it interesting...

ill be spinning a lot of techno tonight for sure.. 6-10 am slot in the main room at one of our local afterhours

It's a damn shame that nobody's mentioned Joris Voorn yet. ):

Christian Smith and John Selway aka "Smith & Selway"
both are good as individual producers and together.

Another one is Michel de Hey...he does pretty funky and melodic techno. If you want something harder, go for Chris Liebing....there's lots of harder stuff in his sets and the music he produces.
